We all knew Genshin Impact was preparing some surprises for Gamescom 2025, and one of them is the long-anticipated trailer for Flins, one of the new characters coming to Nod-Krai. While short, it was enough to enthrall many Travelers out there who are ready to step into the next chapter of Genshin Impact. Furthermore, this teaser gave us a glimpse at some of the enemies we’ll face once the “Song of the Welkin Moon” version arrives. So, if you have some Primogems saved up and need some help regarding who to pull for, this Lightkeeper might nudge you in the right direction.
Flins Debuts in Latest Genshin Impact Trailer During Gamescom 2025
If you didn’t have the opportunity to go to Gamescom this year, don’t worry, Genshin Impact has prepared some online goodies, such as the “A Lantern in the Night” trailer, featuring Flins, one of the most beloved Nod-Krai characters that will debut in the game soon.
Flins has surprised everyone with his graceful Lightkeeper movements as he faces the hordes of the Wild Hunt in Nod-Krai. While we didn’t get a deep dive into his gameplay yet, there are a few things that veteran Travelers might’ve noticed. For starters, it seems he will be a Polearm user, and the trailer shows he uses both Hydro and Electro in one way. It is uncertain how this will play out in-game, but it is interesting to see the Lightkeeper embracing two elements. Furthermore, we got a new look at some of the new enemies that players will likely become familiar with as they explore the new region.
For those who attended Gamescom in person, however, there are a lot of things to discover in the Nod-Krai-themed booth of Genshin Impact. This booth includes a showcase of unique factions as well as an interactive challenge that will allow Travelers to help Flins defeat Wild Hunt enemies. So, if you are around the expo, be sure to stop by to try it out.
Right now, there isn’t an exact release date for the next Genshin Impact update, but it shouldn’t take long for us to find more about the next chapter in this Teyvat journey. In the meantime, Travelers still have plenty of time to complete everything in Version 5.8 and save some Primogems because you’ll need them if you want to add some Nod-Krai characters to your roster.
