While I’ve never had a warrant for my arrest, logic dictates that if someone did, they’d probably not want to bump into the cops and make a scene. A man from Georgia, however, didn’t really follow that wisdom, as even though he had multiple outstanding warrants to his name, he still proceeded to have an unhinged meltdown at a car wash because the battery in his vehicle died. As a result, the police were called and he was eventually arrested.
In the video that has since been shared to Reddit, a man sporting a blue beanie hat, blue t-shirt, and grey sweatpants can be seen outside of a car wash yelling at some employees. Accompanying the footage is some context that reads, “His battery die while we had the door open to clean the inside of his car, I try to explain him to replace the battery, instead he reacted this way, their mechanic came and charge their battery. Told them they need a new one. He got arrested because he had multiple warrants.”
The irate Georgia man shouts, “I’m going to set this motherf*cker down, bro! They f*cked my motherf*cking Kia up! Hey, hey, I ain’t nobody! I ain’t no motherf*cking want no car wash!” and walks back to the front of the car wash building. A woman can be seen politely asking him to “stop, stop“, though he continues his furious ranting and raving. “Y’all f*cked my motherf*cking Kia up. I don’t give a f*ck! Hey, you better get that sh*t outta my face before I throw it on the roof! I’m gonna throw that sh*t on the roof!” the man yells as he points at the cameraman, who is presumably either a worker at the car wash or another customer.
The man continues throwing threats at the cameraman before the footage segues into a later part of the incident. In the second part, you can clearly see two Gwinnett County police officers stood talking to the angry car wash customer. It’s hard to make out what the Georgia man is saying, but it sounds like, “I’m not the one who broke it, sir.” Moments later, however, there’s a clip from a third part and it’s clear that the irate man has been arrested because he’s in handcuffs and leaning against a police vehicle, with two cops stood nearby.
Taking to the comments section, social media users couldn’t help but poke fun at the irate man’s poor judgment and anger issues. One Redditor expressed, “Acting this way while having warrants is insane.” while another person wrote, “Are you surprised though? He doesn’t seem like the type of person to make good decisions.” A third declared, “I laughed so hard at the end. what low IQ idiot.” A fourth joked, “They should have thrown him on the roof.”
The bizarre incident speaks to how unresolved personal issues and poor decision-making can spiral into larger problems, as when the police arrived to calm the situation down, a routine check revealed the Georgia man’s active warrants, leading to his arrest.
