A Fallout: New Vegas game mod thatโs taken fans and engineers more than seven years to develop is now available. The free mod for PC follows the story before the events of the courier through the Mojave Desert. The new game released during the same time frame as the Fallout 76 BETA.
“A massive single player role playing game with deep character driven mechanics and branching narrative quest architecture, FNC takes you on a journey through the aftermath of the NCR-Enclave War following the end of Fallout 2 twenty years before, leading into the events that inspire Fallout 3 and New Vegas.”
It released during the same time frame as the Fallout 76 BETA. Players are required to own New Vegas in order to have access to the new mod. Itโs set in the city of New California at a place called The Pass, in the year 2260. The main character is part of the Wasteland Scout tribe. Orphaned by those living in Vault 18 within the San Bernardino Mountains, you are left on your own to travel the wastes beyond the vault door.

The Fallout game mod includes more than 16,900 lines of dialogue from 60 volunteer voice actors. Developers say depending on choices and quests, the game will take between six to 30 hours to complete. It also features 13 different endings and more than 48 quests throughout the world.
“A psychotic Raider Warlord, Juan Elsdragon, has assumed control of a vast Raider Alliance collected of the various tribes washed away by the NCR’s pacification efforts, bolstered by hundreds of survivalists who resist the taxes and cultural erasure the NCR represents.”
To start exploring the wasteland in New California, players will need Fallout: New Vegas for PC in order to start installing the game.
Fallout: New California is a stand-alone story and not connected at all to the games from Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda.
