Every month, new shows and movies come to Netflix while there are some that leave. With so much on Netflix Instant, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to decide what to watch. Here are five movies and TV shows you should maybe check out when they hit in the month of June.
Nightcrawler โ hits June 10
Personally one of my favorite movies of 2014 and one that deserved a bit more credit during the awards season. Jake Gyllenhaal plays a freelance video reporter who takes extreme steps to come up on top. With a supporting cast of Bill Paxton and Rene Russo there is much to like about this film. It is a character driven film that holds a lot of suspense and drama. If you donโt have a Netflix subscription, I recommend you get one now because with Nightcrawler, it looks like June will shape up to being a good month.
ย A Most Wanted Man โ hits June 19
I canโt really speak for this film since I havenโt seen it though all I have heard are good things. The biggest reason I am suggesting A Most Wanted Man is because it is one of the last great performances (according to critics) of the late Phillip Seymore Hoffman who passed away from drug overdose last year. If you are a fan of the actorโs performances or at least know of his work, you then will know you will probably be in for a treat.
Sense8 โ hits June 5
A new Netflix original series hit the first week of June and its by the Wachowski siblings (The Matrix Trilogy, Cloud Atlas) no less. From what the trailer has shown, Sense8 looks to be a mix of thriller and science fiction. The show is an original idea and all episodes will drop at the same time. It looks to be a long movie made in various parts. I canโt speak for how the show is until I see it, but from what I have seen in the trailers it looks like Netflix might have another good original series on their hands. Speaking of whichโฆย
Orange is the New Black Season 3 โ hits June 12
All episodes of the third season of the critically acclaimed show is coming to Netflix this month. Netflix has shown time and time again they have good exclusive shows and Orange is the New Black isnโt any different. If you havenโt seen it yet, I recommend you give it a watch. I donโt want to spoil anything here so get watching!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 โ hits June 11
Have you seen the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but had no way to watch the first? Well in a surprising move, the second season is coming about a month after it ended on air. This season saw what remained of Shield fight Hydra and introduces the Inhumans, another new Marvel property that will see a movie in 2019. I myself can vouch that is a stronger season than the first and that it doesnโt let up.
