A Host of Villains is Coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley’s New Expansion

They’re just fine. You know, a little dark, a little gloomy

Disney Dreamlight Valley recently announced that on October 29, they would have a showcase full of surprises, and we finally got to see what it was all about. It’s not the next update. Well, yes, but with much, much more. Disney Dreamlight Valley announced its next Expansion Pass called The Storybook Vale. Another DLC with one more island to keep expanding our valley. In addition to having a larger space, we will also welcome other characters and challenges from Disney PIXAR movies, including some villains. Best of all, this new stage is closer to its arrival.

The biggest surprise is that players will get another island in The Storybook Vale Expansion Pass, just like in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time. This island will feature three biomes: The Bind, the castle’s location from the previous teaser; Ever After, a dark forest with giant fluorescent mushrooms; and Mythopia, a meadow with Greek buildings. Besides, in these biomes, we will find other companions such as Flynn Rider from Tangled, Merida from Brave, and one of the funniest villains, Hades from Hercules.

The villains come in pairs in this Expansion Pass because, in The Storybook Vale, Maleficent, and Hades began to rule as friends. But their big egos quickly put an end to their friendship and left the valley in ruins. So we must embark on a new adventure to save everybody again. On November 20, Part 1 will arrive, and we must face Hades. However, Part 2, where Maleficent will have her spotlight, will not come until Summer 2025.

I am also excited about the next update for December 4, Sew Delightful, in which Sally can finally visit our valley. Not only that, but she will also come with patchwork-theme accessories and furniture. Also, the Star Path will have a winter crystal theme as the winter holidays are fast approaching. But what’s even more exciting about this update is that it will also bring the floating islands a new area to decorate over each available biome. So, get ready to welcome more neighbors and redesign your valley, probably for the 20th time.
