Independent film studio A24 is the gifted team that keeps on giving. The official trailer for Bodies Bodies Bodies from director Halina Reijn is here, and it’s nothing you would expect. Eager A24 fans can expect to catch Bodies Bodies Bodies in theaters on August 5, 2022.
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor in the New Film from A24
Within the trailer, audiences are greeted with a wide range of emotions. It essentially features a group of 20-somethings trying to plan out an activity. That’s when one suggests that they should play a game called “Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.” As far as what the trailer shows, we can presume it’s a game where one friend literally dies while the rest try to figure out who the killer is. It comes from the unfortunate result of hosting a game where it’s a “murder mystery” in the dark. Within a minute and thirty seconds of footage, there’s already so much to digest as these characters twist and turn upon the mystery.
It’s a truly bizarre concept that’s wonderfully being distributed by A24, and you catch all of the madness here with the official trailer for Bodies Bodies Bodies. A cautious word for some: expect profanity, some blood, and 20-something party angst intercut with strange and hilarious moments.
This original slasher film is being helmed by Dutch director Halina Reijn, who made her directorial debut with Instinct (2019). It already had its premiere at South by Southwest on March 14, 2022, to positive reception. Some of the reviews can be briefly seen throughout the trailer for Bodies Bodies Bodies.
