This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Naraka Bladepoint is one of the more unique Battle Royale games available, where you fight with melee weapons rather than guns. The game was released almost two years ago and, as part of its anniversary, was released for PlayStation 5 and shifted to a free-to-play title. In the past couple of days, a lot of new players have joined to check it out, so many may be finding it difficult to understand all the different modes and currencies in the game. So here are all the Naraka Bladepoint game modes explained.

Like every multiplayer game, Naraka also provides different game modes to keep the game fresh in case players need a change, as well as trying to offer a nice sense of variety. At the time of writing, there are five different modes available with one being added in the future.

The Herald’s Trial Game Mode

The first option you see in Naraka Bladepoint is the Herald’s Trial. This is the standard mode of the game where you are dropped in Morus Isle with 59 other players to fight for survival. You can play this mode solo or in trios. It is important to understand that Herald’s Trial is a ranked mode which means you will either gain or lose points after each match.

Quick Match Game Mode

The Quick Match Mode is for players that don’t want to deal with all the serious and competitive players. The concept behind Quick Match is the same as Herald’s Trial, where 60 players fight each other, but here there is no ranking. If you are a new player to the world of Naraka, it is best to start from here to learn a little bit of gameplay and everything else before jumping to the Herald’s Trial.

Free Training

As the name of the game mode suggests, you will be able to train in Free Training mode. You will have access to all weapons available in the game so you could practice different combos and eventually decide which weapon will serve you best in the heat of battle.

The Bloodbath Game Mode

Unlike previous modes, in The Bloodbath you have resources, armor, and weapons from the start. It is described as an all-vs-all game mode where you try to get the most kills possible in a short amount of time. If you don’t like the long matches of Quick Match and Herald’s Trial, the Bloodbath is the best mode for you.

Immortal War

This is the game mode for the Elite. In Immortal War only players with a 3,000 rating or rank above the Solar rank can participate. There are a few key differences here which make it logical why it is only for the high-rank players. There are 48 players instead of 60 and all the quests in this mode are bounties. This means to complete the quest you have to kill the player, otherwise you won’t progress. The chances of getting higher-ranked items like Epic or Legendary are also higher in this mode.

There is also a game mode currently locked because 24 Entertainment, the studio behind Naraka is still working on it and will release it in the future.

Naraka Bladepoint is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
