American Music Awards 2021 will open with BTS and Megan Thee Stallion performing a remixed version of Butter. American Music Awards 2021 are set to broadcast live on ABC from L.A.โ€™s Microsoft Theatre, November 21.

A world premiere of Bad Bunny’s Lo Siento BB:/is also scheduled for the AMAs in the initial announcement of performers. Olivia Rodrigo will perform a yet-to-be-named tune from her debut album.

Megan Thee Stallion will make her debut in American Music Awards 2021.

A six-time AMA winner, BTS, will perform their hit single “Butter” with AMA winner Megan Thee Stallion. The South Korean boy band is nominated for Artist of the Year, and the Houston rapper was nominated in three categories this year. Olivia Rodrigo makes her AMA debut with a performance you don’t want to miss. In addition to Artist of the Year, she is nominated in seven categories. In addition to performing “Lo Siento BB:/” for the world premiere, Bad Bunny has five nominations this year.

In an announcement last week, Cardi B said she’s excited to make her hosting debut.

“I’m ready to bring my personality to the AMAs stage! Thank you to [executive producer] Jesse Collins, ABC, and MRC for making this happen,” Cardi B in a news release.

As with virtually all of the K-pop group’s other TV appearances since the outbreak began, BTS performed on the AMAs last year, but under quarantine conditions, they stayed in the country. With BTS making its AMAs debut, this will be an especially hot live show, but Angelenos can also catch them at the So-Fo Stadium, where they will be performing four nights starting the following weekend for four nights.

Now it’s up to fans to tune into ABC on November 21 at 8 PM Eastern/Pacific time to catch all the action. Voting is open until November 16. The American Music Awards winners are determined entirely by fan votes — just search “AMAs” on TikTok or click here to vote. Between September 25, 2020, and September 23, 2021, the nominated artists were based on fan interactions like streaming, album sales, song sales, and radio airplay.
