While on vacation, the last thing anyone would expect is a stranger crashing the event. However, that is exactly what happened to this couple as their Arizona Airbnb host showed up at the house to swim. The woman staying at the Airbnb would then film a TikTok of the house’s owner swimming in the pool, while the guests are staying at the house. The video posted on TikTok by Peyton Mariee has over two million views, as the app’s users are in shock.
The TikTok begins with the couple inside of the Airbnb in Phoenix, Arizona. In the short seven-second long clip, viewers can see what appears to be a woman swimming in the couple’s pool while on her phone. The couple cannot be heard speaking in the TikTok, but words are visible on the screen. The text in the video reads “When the Airbnb host decides to join you on YOUR vacation.” It would be safe to say that Peyton Mariee is not a huge fan of this woman just chilling in the pool of the house they paid to rent, even if she is technically the owner. TikTok users would also seem to agree with Peyton as they left their comments in support. “That’s not okay,” wrote one confused social media user.
Arizona Airbnb Host Crashes Couple’s Vacation
The couple was clearly annoyed by the Airbnb host’s actions, and the TikTok’s caption proves that point even more. “Like ma’am.. You’ve got 362 other days you can do this. Why are you out here with us?” writes Peyton. The caption also states that the woman had even allegedly brought her granddaughter out to the house to swim. While the couple quickly states that the granddaughter was “cool,” they still seemed upset about the situation.
The TikTok comment section is filled with users who appear to feel a similar way as the Arizona couple. Vacations are meant to be a relaxing time with loved ones, not an open invitation for everyone to use the pool. Despite the fact that the strange lady was the Airbnb host, there needs to be boundaries set for when guests are staying over.
For the sake of Peyton Mariee and her husband, hopefully, this didn’t kill the vacation vibe too much. However, it is, at the very least, a funny story they can tell for the rest of their lives. As for the Arizona Airbnb host, privacy may be a topic she needs to brush up on for next time.
