The world of pink vibrancy and a patriarchal uprising is coming to your living room. Warner Bros. has set a streaming date for Barbie on Max, featuring an alternative ASL version. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will grace our screens on the service on December 15. This comes months after the initial digital release on services like Amazon in September.

The Sensational Barbie Goes to Streaming on Max Next Week With an ASL Version

The announcement comes from a Warner Bros. press release, in which the film will arrive on the streamer precisely at 12 a.m. PT/3 p.m. ET. The theatrical cut will be available along with another that supports American sign language. This means the film will display a “unique title in-app and can be identified by its key art with the sign language symbol.” ASL performer Leila Hanaumi will be featured.

A special event will be held to celebrate the ASL version on December 14 in Los Angeles. Robbie and Hanaumi will make an appearance for a Q&A with the audience. The event will be in collaboration with the non-profit Deaf West Theatre.
