After returning for another season on the franchise, the duo looked prepared to tie the knot finally. However, the couple is trying to scale some hurdles, including their finances. Although the fan-favorite couple has had their fair share of relationship troubles on the show, they always seem to find a way through it all. Nevertheless, Jasmine and Gino’s relationship recently looked to have hit a brick wall. Their trouble started when Gino insisted that Jasmine must sign a prenup.
With the two seemingly unable to find common ground, the duo met to discuss their relationship. The clear-the-air talks over dinner in the most recent episode helped, and the two reached a compromise. However, Jasmine left Gino stunned when she asked that he put a will in place before their marriage. Jasmine doubled down on her request by explaining that anything could happen to Gino, and that would leave her stranded on foreign soil. Gino was understandably irritated by Jasmine’s request, and most 90 Day Fiancé fans shared his sentiments.
Jasmine Only Wants Gino’s Money
Most 90-Day Fiancé fans felt sickened by Jasmine’s request for a will. During a post-episode discussion on Reddit, fans shared their thoughts about the duo’s constant feuding over money. While it is common for couples to disagree over their finances, Jasmine’s obsession with Gino’s money raises many red flags that shouldn’t be ignored.
On the one hand, Jasmine constantly tells everyone who cares to listen that Gino hurts her. But when presented with the option of ending the relationship, she claims she cannot live without him. So, it is rather suspicious that she would casually talk about him dying just a few months before their wedding, all to get a will out of him.
On Reddit, 90-Day Fiancé fans are expressing their shock at Jasmine’s request. Most of the show’s viewers argue that the former teacher only wants Gino’s money. Some even raised concerns over Gino’s safety, with user u/dogmatx61 saying,
“The way she was insisting on a will, he SHOULD be shaking.”
90-Day Fiancé Jasmine Is Selfish
Following the shocking scenes from episode 5, fans have called Jasmine out for being selfish. Most fans feel Gino has enough reasons to be wary of Jasmine’s motives. For everyone, it was shocking to watch Jasmine ask Gino for a will after she had only just vehemently kicked against the idea of signing a prenup.
Even though Gino’s reasons for requesting a prenup seemed fair by all standards, Jasmine refused to sign it. Ultimately, Gino embraced peace and opted to ditch the idea of a prenup. However, Jasmine felt she needed “more protection” and thus asked him to make a will. To support her unreasonable demand, Jasmine said,
“In my eyes, I want to feel protected and that you will still love me and take care of me.”
Like most 90-Day Fiancé fans, Gino was visibly irritated by her request. He queried why she would be thinking about his death just a few months before they tie the knot. With Jasmine failing to see any wrong in her request, 90 Day Fiancé fans feel Gino must reevaluate his relationship with Jasmine — at least for his safety.
