Charlotta might be one of the smallest characters in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but she delivers big damage numbers with the right DPS build. While she embodies the knight or paladin archetype, she isn’t afraid to beat her enemies with precise and fast sword cuts. Even if she has top-notch support skills, playing her as a DPS is better. With her fast attacks and devasting jumping moves, she can bring a lot of damage to any fight and help you defeat those pesky enemies as fast as possible.
How To Build Charlotta in Granblue Fantasy: Relink
Charlotta has two builds in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but after a bit of experimenting, we decided the DPS is the best one and, honestly, the most engaging one to use. Don’t get us wrong, she can easily protect party members, but her support playstyle is a bit stale in contrast to her fast attacks. So, if you want to see this knight do big damage numbers, here’s what you need.
Weapon: Arondight
We usually recommend weapons with a flat attack bonus for our builds, but we wanted to try something different with Charlotta’s build in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, and it paid off. Instead of giving her weapon attack bonuses, we went with Arondight, which provides Stun Power. This might seem like an odd choice, but you’ll be doing a lot of stun damage to enemies due to Charlotta’s attack speed, making her perfect against certain boss fights. And, if you want more damage, you can add some extra Wrightstone for other traits like critical hit damage.
Skills and Sigils
Charlotta hits hard with the right skills and can even debuff the enemy with one particular ability. Here are the ones we recommend:
- Shining Onslaught
- Holy Ladder
- Valiant Stance
- Sword of Lumiel
For her rotation, it is important that you are familiar with her combos first. Her attacks become faster the more you button-mash, meaning you need good positioning before going berserk on the opponent. Besides, you’ll need to time the leaping attack right to land the combo finisher, which improves after you chain normal attacks. Once you nail that down, open a fight with Valiant Stance and Shining Onslaught. The former will give you an attack increase that improves over time, and Shining Onslaught works as a gap closer, which also reduces the enemy’s defense. If the enemy is in a broken state, use the Sword of Lumiel to do great damage and finish up with Holy Ladder.
Since we’re focusing on stun power and high critical hit damage, here are the sigils you should watch out for:
- Attack Power
- Stun Power
- Cascade
- Critical Hit Rate
- Critical Damage
- Combo Booster
- Combo Finisher
The sigils are simple to get and will give Charlotta a huge attack boost with zero drawbacks. While you could swap a few for some defensive ones, we recommend building other characters to be your tanks and healers.
Overall, Charlotta is a great character who can easily be on top of the DPS charts. Positioning is extremely important for her, so you’ll need to learn your enemy’s pattern when fighting them. But, after a bit of practice, you’ll be razing the battlefield with this righteous knight.
