Yodarha, a small old man with a katana, is about as formidable as he looks, especially since he looks like a small old green alien with a lightsaber. Also named like him. And as with most characters inย Granblue Fantasy Relink,ย giving this old man a chance to slice his wayย through the endgameย works much better with a build guide. Hence, we present you ourย Granblue Fantasy Relinkย Yodarha build.

How To Build Yodarha in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

Much of Yodarha’s playstyle revolves around his own unique mechanic, the Shroud Marks. He can accumulate a total of three Shroud Marks, and each one will enhance the effectiveness of his skills.

Meanwhile, you can get Shroud Marks after every Combo Finisher he performs, and this ties in well with his rotations. So ensure that you perform at least one Combo Finisher (or one Shroud Mark) before weaving in some Skills. Three Shroud Marks is still the optimal amount; we’ll explain that later.

Additionally, his Counter is a powerful tool that lets you bypass some of the offensive Sigils, though it can have a high learning curve. Generally, Yodarha’s playstyle is fast and intense and relies on combos as well as your reflexes if you want to maximize him. Of course, the weapon is also an important choice here.

Weapon: Fudo-Kuniyuki

Naturally, the endgame goal would always be the Terminus Weapon, and for Yodarha, that would be the Swordfish. However, you might want to settle for something more accessible because those Terminus Weapons are hard to obtain. In that case, Fudo-Kuniyuki is your best bet.

Fudo-Kuniyuki should carry you well into Proud difficulty quests and even help you farm for Yodarha’s Terminus Weapon. It has a special trigger effect that helps boost Yodarha’s attack, and it’s all you’ll really need since Yodarha’s combos tend to be nonstop.

However, you might want to ensure you have a high Crit Chance to maximize it even further. But don’t fuss over it too much since Yodarha’s attack speed is so high, you’ll notice crits appearing often enough.

Skills and Sigils

This is where Yodarha’s tight combos come into play. The four Skills we’ll recommend are tantamount to the optimal Yodarha playstyle since they take full advantage of the Shroud Marks mechanic.

  • Empty Mist
  • Hymn of the Hundreds
  • Trice Blade
  • Perpetual Rotation

Perpetual Rotation does a lot of the heavy lifting here. Don’t go without it. The only safe Skill you can choose to replace is Empty Mist, as the other three have way too much synergy to be swapped out.

In any case, here’s the rotation.

  1. Activate Perpetual Rotation to instantly gain three Shroud Marks.
  2. Activate the Trice Blade buff and don’t get hit until step 3, or you’ll lose the huge damage bonus.
  3. Use Hymn of the Hundreds. This will not only give you Mirror Image but also grant it to your entire party. Also, it’s mostly there to prevent you from losing Trice Blade’s buff.
  4. Use Empty Mist or any Offensive Skill you want as long as it deals damage. However, Empty Mist has a hold variant that lets you deal even more damage.
  5. Try to gain Triple Shroud Marks with Combo Finishers as fast as you can while Skills are on cooldown.
  6. Repeat Step 1 once Perpetual Rotation is available again.

The beauty of this setup is that Perpetual Rotation will also recharge all your Skills (except Perpetual Rotation) if you already have Triple Shroud Marks upon activation. This can essentially let you become nigh-invincible as long as you time Perpetual Rotation and as long as you’re hitting those Combo Finishers.

As for Sigils, you’ll want these:

  • Attack Power – Self-explanatory.
  • Tyranny – The negative HP is negligible since you’ll be invincible most of the time.
  • DMG Cap – Almost mandatory for late game.
  • Combo Finisher DMG – You’ll be relying on Combo Finishers during the Skill rotation downtime.
  • Quick Cooldown – For an even lower Skill rotation downtime.
  • Stout Heart – For less combo interruptions
  • Critical Hit Rate – Additional damage never hurts, or it does for the enemy.

DMG Cap is especially important here if you’re already in the late game, and you will also want to take those in the Masteries skill tree to supplement your Sigil.

Don’t worry if you mess up the Triple Shroud Marks accumulation. You can always rely on Perpetual Rotation to top off the Triple Shroud Marks; just don’t activate Hymn of the Hundreds independently or before Trice Blade. That’s it for our Yodarha build. Now, go out there and be the sharpest Beyblade you can be.
