If you’re on a mission to rank up quickly in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 and determined to win all the rewards in the Ranked mode, you might need some hiding spots to survive in those Storm Cycles. There are around nine Storm Cycles, and staying alive is difficult, especially in the Ranked mode. However, there are some great hiding spots on the map that you can wait inside of while other players eliminate each other. Let’s look at the top seven hiding spots in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2!

7. Between the Statue and the Building at Mount Olympus

I don’t think many of you might have landed at the top of the building’s roof near the giant statue. There is a space between the hill and the building’s roof. If you land on the top of the building, this is a perfect location to hide and survive the first few Storm Cycles in Fortnite. The tricky part is there are not many weapons to loot at the top of the roof. I landed there a few times but found weapons only once or twice.

6. Inside Green Waterfalls at Grim Gate

There are two green waterfalls at the entrance of the Grim Gate. Once you get inside of it, no one can see you there. But remember, this place is often saturated with many players, and if they had landed before you, you might get killed before even landing. So, first, clear any enemies around. Then, grab some weapons and get inside the waterfall.

However, these new locations added to Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 are often covered by the first few Storm Cycles, so you will not be able to stay in them for long.

5. Under the Train Station Near the Classy Courts

This location is near the island’s edge, Southwest of the Calssy Courts. But it’s still an excellent place to hide and survive the early Storm Cycles. Once you land, go inside the building and grab some weapons. Then, break the floor before the railway, and you can see a great hiding spot in Fortnite. Once you break, there is a space inside where you can crouch and wait. I recommend you drop in this place if the Battle Bus route is far from Classy Courts, as fewer players will land there.

4. On the Rooftop of the Windmill North West to the Ruined Reels

If you check your map as soon as you drop from the Battle Bus, you will identify an idle windmill Northwest to the Ruined Reels at the cliff’s edge. Go inside the windmill and grab everything you can while going to the top floor. Then, break the roof and jump onto it. Anyone will not see you are inside.

3. On the Roof of Lavish Lair

This spot is located on the roof of the main building of Lavish Lair. It would be best if you landed directly on the rooftop. However, the disadvantage I found in this location is that you might not find any weapons there. But it’s still an excellent spot to hide and wait. Break the roof and go inside; you will find an excellent hiding spot in a larger space in Fortnite.

2. Under the Building of the Ruined Reels

If you land in this location and hide here, you can easily survive around three to five Storm Cycles. This building is left to the Collosium, and if you break the wall from the cliff side, you will find a large hole inside. Just go to the edge of the wall and wait until you pass the maximum Storm Cycles you can. This is the second-best hiding spot I have found in Fortnite.

1. Inside the Towers of Reckless Railways

You must land directly on the roof of the main building, and you will see two towers on each side of the roof. Go inside the tower, and you can jump onto the platform at the corner. This is one of my best hiding spots in Fortnite Chapter 5 so far. Unlike on the rooftop of the Lavish Lair, most of the time, there is a yellow chest on each of these towers with an uncommon weapon.

You can break a small portion of the wall and shoot enemies down without getting hit. The most crucial part is that the location is in the middle of the map, and you can be there until many Storm Cycles pass.
