For those players who want a taste of a sniper rifle with an AR’s mobility,ย MW3ย offers four new marksman rifles. This category of weapons is so strong that last year it was limited in MW2 ranked matches, and players can not use them in many competitive tournaments. But if you want to play normalย MW3ย Multiplayer, Zombies, orย Warzone, then the MR class has a lot to talk about. However, you should note that not all marksman rifles are annihilation machines. Among the 4 options you get inย MW3ย andย Warzone, here are the best marksman rifles you could pick, ranked from worst to best.
4. DM56
If you are a fast clicker for shooting semi-auto weapons quickly enough, then DM56 is a good weapon for you. If not, it’s better not to go around this marksman rifle, at least for now in Season 1. The power isn’t much on every shot of DM56, and the High Grain rounds won’t help that much with it. Requiring 3 to 4 shots for a Multiplayer kill and 6 shots inย Warzone, DM56 isn’t the best thing thatย MW3‘s marksman rifles class has to offer.
3. MCW 6.8
MCW 6.8 is a little stronger than DM56, but the game-changer here is the mobility. This MR comes with a variety of barrel attachments, allowing you to modify it the way you want for a much faster movement and ADS time or a fine-tuned range hitter. High Grain rounds do add a lot of worth to this MR, allowing for an easy 3-shot takedown in MW3 Multiplayer. For Warzone players, however, MCW 6.8 is not the one you’re looking for in this list.
2. MTZ Interceptor
Second to the best, the MTZ Interceptor marksman rifle was one of the strongestย MW3ย weapons before the Season 1 update. This rifle has good mobility, manageable recoil, balanced fire rate, and high firepower, letting the user kill targets with 2 shots inย MW3, and 3 to 4 shots inย Warzone. Even after the nerf, the MTZ Interceptor is still an option to recommend for bothย MW3ย andย Warzoneย players, because of its damage and high bullet velocity stats.
1. KVD Enforcer
And here we have the current bestย MW3ย marksman rifle on the list, the KVD Enforcer. To make it simple, this rifle has the same power as its MTZ rival had before it was nerfed. Guaranteed 3 shot kills inย Warzone? Check. Slaying zombies at any range? Check. Variable attachments suiting any playstyle? Double check! The KVD Enforcer wins the bestย MW3ย marksman rifles ranked competition because of its consistent accuracy, high firepower, and manageable fire rate.
