In Destiny 2: The Final Shape, Titans will benefit from the new Prismatic subclass with options like the Hammer of Sol, Frenzied Blade, and Consecration at their disposal. Their build potential will be enhanced with Exotic Class Items and all their tantalizing options. Here is the best Prismatic Titan build on your journey to stop the Witness.

Prismatic Titan Build At a Glance

  • Subclass – Prismatic
  • Super – Hammer of Sol
  • Class Ability – Towering Barricade
  • Jump – Strafe Lift
  • Grenade – Glacier Grenade
  • Melee – Frenzied Blade
  • Aspects -Consecration, Knockout
  • Fragments – Facet of Dawn Facet of Grace, Facet of Purpose, Facet of Blessing, Facet of Ruin

Abilities

Consecration

For this Build, we’ll be using the Hammer of Sol Super. Hammer of Sol has been a personal favorite of mine for quite some time, but it has the potential to be absolutely lethal with this build. It had decent Scorch and Ignite, and since the new Dread faction will be live with The Final Shape, hitting aerial opponents like Grim will be much easier with the Hammer of Sol Super.

When it comes to the best possible abilities for the build, you’ll want to utilize Frenzied Blade and Glacier Grenade. Frenzied Blade has a habit of working quite well with Consecration, which we’ll also be using. It also grants three melee charges, as well as unraveling. Glacier Grenades are going to be awesome paired with all the changed made to the Stasis subclass, as well as the Ice Shatter damage buffs and Frost Armor.

  • Hammer of Sol – Summons a flaming hammer to wreak destruction down on your enemies. Upon impact, your hammer shatter into explosive molten shards.
  • Towering Barricade – Creates a large barrier that can be used to reinforce a position with cover from enemy fire.
  • Strafe Lift – Jump while airborne to activate Lift and launch into the air with strong directional control.
  • Glacier Grenade – A grenade that creates walls out of Stasis crystals to block damage and freeze targets; these walls can be shattered for damage.
  • Frenzied Blade – Activate your charged melee ability to dash forward, slashing at targets in front of you and severing them.

Aspects

For the build, we’ll be using the Consecration and Knockout. Out of all the Solar subclass Aspects, Consecration has to be one of my favorites. It allows you to create an impressive ground slam that produces waves of Solar energy.

  • Consecration – While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to launch a wave of Solar energy forward, damaging and scorching targets in front of you as you lead into the air. While airborne, activate your charged melee ability again to slam to the ground and create a second larger wave of damaging Solar energy. If the wave hits a scorches target, they ignite.
  • Knockout – Critically wounding a target or breaking their shield infuses your melee arracks with Arc energy and increases your melee range and damage for a short time. Defeating targets with melee attacks starts health regeneration and makes you amplified.

Fragments

The five Prismatic Fragments we’ll be using for this build are the Facet of Dawn, Facet of Grace, Facet of Purpose, Facet of Blessing, and the Facet of Ruin.

  • Facet of Dawn – Powered melee hits against targets make you Radiant. Powered melee final blows make you and nearby allies Radiant.
  • Facet of Grace – Defeating targets with Kinetic weapons grants you bonus Transcendence energy. Defeating targets with your Super grants you and nearby allies bonus Transcendence.
  • Facet of Purpose – Picking up an Orb of Power grants you wither Amplified, Restoration, Frost Armor, Woven Mail, or Overshield based on the damage type of your equipped Super.
  • Facet of Blessing – Melee final blows start health regeneration. While Transcendent, melee final blows start health regeneration for you and nearby allies.
  • Facet of Ruin – Increases the size and damage of the burst when you shatter a Stasis crystal or a frozen target, and increases the area of effect on Solar Ignitions.

Exotic Class Item Combination

For the Exotic Class Item, you’ll want to have the Spirit of the Assassin and Spirit of Synthoceps. While Synthoceps gives you increased melee damage when you’re surrounded, Assassin gives you invisibility when you get finishers and powered melee final blows. When paired with Consecration, this combination can make you absolutely lethal and eliminate any vulnerability after using your abilities.

  • Spirit of the Assassin – Finishers and powered melee final blows grant invisibility.
  • Spirit of Synthoceps – Improved melee damage when you’re surrounded.

Exotic Weapons

For this specific build, we’ll want to be using the Microcosm Heavy Kinetic Trace Rifle. While there are other good options as well, Microcosm just really does exactly what we’ll need. Each shot of the Microcosm weapon fires a beam of Kinetic light that will deal loads of bonus damage to shields. In addition to that, final blows will grant Super energy, and after your Super expires, you’ll be dealing even more bonus damage.

Armor Stats

When it comes to the specific stats you’ll want to use with this Prismatic Titan build in The Final Shape, you’ll want to take a look at the key points of the build. We’ll be using shields and melee abilities more than anything, so it really only makes sense to have both Resilience and Strength. Both of these stats will benefit the build pretty well, so having higher values, around 80 or more, in each stat is the way to go.
