Bethesda Game Studios is expanding, today announcing that they are opening a new office in Montreal, Quebec.ย The new studio is expectedย โto expand its development capabilities in console, PC, and mobile gaming,โ the publisher recently announced.ย This is probably good news for those worried about how long their next game would take to make.
โWeโve worked with some very talented developers in Montreal for a long time, and decided it was time to open a studio there,โ said Todd Howard, Game Director and Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios. โItโs exciting to think about the new games weโll be building together.โ
Bethesda Game Studios Montreal has already established a core team of more than 40 developers, coveringย both console and mobile development.ย The studio in Montreal, headed byย Yves Lachance, already has a team of 40 developers and is hiring to fill other positions.
