Sofia Vergara is being forced to re-live an uncomfortable and creepy interview with disgraced comedian Bill Cosby. The 2003 re-surfaced video reveals a very cringeworthy moment that has the then 30-year-old actress squirming in her seat.
In 2003, Bill Cosby had yet to be canceled. Cosby was called in on guest host duty to fill in for the ailing David Letterman, who was forced to miss work due to an outbreak of shingles. The appearance was Sofia Vergara’s first ever on American TV to promote her film Chasing Papi.

According to the Daily Mail reports the inappropriate ten-minute interview reveals a very uncomfortable Vergara as she attempts to laugh and jokingly put the overly aggressive Bill Cosby in his place. Cosby is seen during the video making zero attempts to hide his attraction to Vergara.
“Men look at you, and they think only of sin,” Cosby drools over Sofia. “You make me feel young again. You make me feel very … excited. Look at me,” he continues. From that moment on Sofia Vergara refuses to make eye contact with the pushy Cosby Show star.
Sofia Vergara Handles Bill Cosby Advances Like A Professional
Sofia Vergara appears nervous and looks directly at the audience as Bill Cosby continues his advances, inching closer to the actress. She attempts to laugh off his gross comments. Then jokingly said, “But don’t die right here, please!” Bill seems offended and, replied, “I’m not dying!“
“This is my first time on American TV. Don’t die here! But maybe if you do die I will be very famous. Tomorrow everybody will know me. Bill Cosby died interviewing Sofía Vergara!” she laughs nervously.
It seems clear that Bill Cosby was having inappropriate thoughts, especially after commenting on Sofia Vergara’s dress. The frightening fact remains that he didn’t even control his behavior on national television did not go unnoticed. Bill Cosby was later scolded by Vergara, telling the shamed comic, “You can’t talk to a girl like that!”
The awkward re-surfaced video sparked an intense debate on Reddit. “What disturbed me the most? We are probably watching exactly how he drugged many of those women. They thought they were safe, and then he drugged them when their guard was down,” writes one user.

One decade later, Bill Cosby began facing his worst fear. Since then, 60 women have come forward to accuse him of shocking crimes. The list of charges includes rape, drug-facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery, child sexual abuse, and sexual harassment dating back to 1965.
In 2015, Cosby was charged with felony aggravated indecent assault for a 2004 incident involving Andrea Constand. During his 2018 trial, the comedian was found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting her. He was sentenced to 3-10 years in prison. However, he was released in 2021 after his conviction was overturned.
