Soon, we will see a horror actor turn into an action superstar. Roadside Attractions has released the trailer for Boy Kills World, an action movie that follows Bill Skarsgård on a path of revenge against Jessica Rothe and others. The Sam Raimi-produced film was directed by Moritz Mohr with a script written by Tyler Burton-Smith and Arend Remmers.
The John Wick 4 actor plays a Boy who loses his family. From that day, the deaf and mute orphan trains his whole life with a shaman (Yayan Ruhian) to be strong enough to seek revenge against the people responsible, and the voice in his head, adopted from a video game character, drives him to accomplish his mission. From there, we see his villains, who are behind a cereal-sponsored blood sport and plenty of bone-shattering action.

In Boy Kills World, Bill Skarsgård is joined by Andrew Koji, Isaiah Mustafa, Famke Janssen, Sharlto Copley, Michelle Dockery, Brett Gelman, Quinn Copeland, and twins Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti.
With Boy Kills World, Bill Skarsgård continues to stretch himself into other genres, particularly action. Last year, he starred in John Wick 4 as the central antagonist, Marquis de Gramont. He also joined the MCU for another villainous role in Eternals as Kro. Now, he will be able to be knee-deep in blood and guts on this B-movie-styled blockbuster.
Last year, the film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. It received about a dozen reviews to generate a modest 71% on Rotten Tomatoes. While many were torn about its story, its action was undeniably entertaining. It was shortly after picked up by Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate for its wider distribution.
Boy Kills World will have a chance to win over more people when it is released on April 26.
