Having a regular job can be very enjoyable and rewarding. However, if you want to make a lot of money in BitLife, having a special career is the way to go. While it is possible to struggle with these jobs, it is also possible to make millions or even billions over your character’s lifetime. By the end of this guide, you will learn how to get special careers in BitLife.

(Updated on August 1, 2024 – Fact-checked and fixed inconsistencies).

How To Get Special Careers in BitLife

BitLife Get Special Careers

There are four categories of special careers that you can pursue in BitLife:

  • Musician
  • Organized Crime
  • Political Offices
  • Professional Sports

Each category has different requirements that you must meet before applying for each job. There are also steps you can take to greatly increase your chances of success within each line of work. For all of these, though, your character needs to be at least 18 years old. The links above will give more detailed descriptions of each category.

There are two routes you can go as a musician. You can either join a band or become a solo artist. When your character is a child, they will need to practice an instrument or their vocals every year until they have mastered one. Once your character is 18, you can either find a band to join or audition as a solo artist. There are limited options as to what instruments bands and record labels will accept. Unfortunately, this means that even if you master an instrument like the tuba or kazoo, your chances of being accepted into a band or as a solo artist are much lower.

There are numerous options your character can pursue within organized crime. Your character will need to commit crimes to gain notoriety within the mafia world before applying for one of the mafia syndicates. You can commit any crime, whether it’s shoplifting as a child or robbing a bank. Each mafia family has differing levels of notoriety, which determine how difficult it is to be accepted into them.

The political office’s special careers have four levels of employment. For example, if your character is from the United States, your options will include running for local office up to becoming the President of the United States. Running for a local office is far easier than running for president or prime minister. In university, getting a degree in political science and then going to law school will also greatly increase your chances of acceptance. You will also need to run a campaign regardless of the position you choose, which can cost anywhere from a few thousand dollars to millions.

Lastly, there are many sports options within the professional sports field that your character can pursue. Similar to becoming a musician, you will have much better chances of becoming a famous athlete if you train your athleticism as a child and teenager. You can do this by going for walks and taking karate classes. When your character is in school, join a sports team and perform well on it to give you a chance at being scouted for a professional sports team.
