Karens really love positioning themselves as the victims, especially White Karens. And what would make it worse? A racist, White Karen. An artist in Georgia came across one in the wild while she was showing off her t-shirt design. Rather than move along like a normal person, the Karen had to comment. Not to mention being rude for butting into someone’s video (which is also tied to the artist’s livelihood).
TikToker Keiajahโ@theprettiestreal1โshared a video of herself standing in Walmart, with her shirt as the center of attention. The caption hits hard: “POV: you’re recording yourself and this r@cist a** yt lady is desperate to pick a fight with you,” the caption read. After showing off her shirt, you can hear a woman get audible upset over the design. It depicted a KKK member being hung by Confederate flag-printed rope.
“Your shirt’s pretty f*****g racist, by the way,” the White Karen can be heard saying offscreen. Keiajah immediately asked the most important question: “Are you a Klan member?” Who else would be upset by the t-shirt design other than a racist? Unsurprisingly, Keiajah comes to the same conclusion.
Keiajah then continues to record herself as she waits for the Karen to move on. When the woman says she isnโt a Klan member, Keiajah asks her, โThen why would you be offended?โ The Karen responds, โBecause itโs just offensive,“ which we call ‘dodging the question.’ Keiajah tries to explain the shirt is only offensive to Klan members.
โNoooooo she wanted to feel like she was onto something here. You were so nice about this. I bet she thought about this incident for awhile because she outted herself,” one commenter correctly guessed. Another person said, โSo howโฆ bc if she doesnโt have the same beliefs as the people on your shirt, it shouldnโt offend her.โ
Honestly, I’m glad racists out themselves so easily. It’s like they can’t help it. The icing on this really funny cake is that Keiajah runs Radical Resistance, a clothing brand that “makes racist White people turn red in the face.” I think it’s safe to say she nailed it, and I hope she keeps up the good work.
