Black Ops 6 Issues Might Link To A Possible Crisis Among Activision’s Studios

Do they hate each other, or is it just Warzone?

Black Ops 6 is one of the best Call of Duty games in years, but it has its own pack of issues and it’s been the same with this franchise every time a new title comes out. However, a recent post by a former Activision employee may have shed light on an inner crisis that’s going on between Activision’s different studios working on Call of Duty games, which has led to Black Ops 6 and Warzone running into walls of problems and bugs.

The story began with Nadeshot, again, opening up about the recent state of Call of Duty. He says that cheaters are ruining the game, and by the time they fix things with the servers and their anti-cheat program, Black Ops 6 has hugged the dust. In other words, once BO6 is a good game to enjoy, the marketing for the next game begins, and the players move on.

Now what’s interesting here is that a former Activision employee with 4 years of experience there has stated things that we’ve never heard from anyone other than leaks and rumors:

If you want to know why Call of Duty has so many more hacking issues than any other game, I’ll tell you. I worked at Activision for 4 years.

Super simple. You have 3 studios (Sledgehammer, Infinity Ward, Treyarch) who don’t want to work together, who basically start from scratch… https://t.co/odNQ3ejpU9

Nadeshot had already figured out the pattern when by the time one CoD is fixed, another one is out, but hell did we know that Activision’s studios don’t want to work together. This is huge news, and it actually makes sense considering a rumor from months ago when the developers at Infinity Ward were upset about the current story of the Modern Warfare universe and how it makes near-zero sense further linking it with the Black Ops series.

Long story short, the one thing that’s ruining everyone’s day in Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games, is Warzone. This game is a big project that puts everything together so that you can still use MW2 guns in 2025 and make Captain Price dance with BO6 emotes. But when you compile all that data and change the workflow of the game to match Black Ops 6‘s gameplay, it messes with many things.

On top of that, Warzone demands the studios directly work together and cooperate on making different aspects of their game, which will then result in the many bugs we see in Black Ops 6. And to be honest, I don’t think Activision put a stop to this anytime soon. They’ve made Zombies storyline canon to Task Force 141, so, what the hell.

Amir is an absolute Call of Duty nerd, preferring shooter games more than everything. However, he does like to do uppercuts in Mortal Kombat and feel the NOS going through the engines in Need For Speed games.
