Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit drama continues to get messier by the minute. The actress is now claiming that her legal battle with her former It Ends With Us co-star is impacting her entire family, including the four young children that she shares with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. This week, Lively amended her legal complaint and revealed that her kids are “traumatized” by the scandal.
According to Page Six, Blake Lively’s latest court document alleges that she and Ryan Reynolds’ four children, James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and Olin, 2 have been emotionally impacted by the lawsuit. In addition, Lively says that her health has also taken a toll due to the situation as well, even “struggling to get out of bed” on some days.
Blake says that her children have been “emotionally uprooted in ways that have substantially impacted their well-being.” Meanwhile, the document also states that Ryan has been “affected mentally, physically, and professionally by his wife’s and children’s pain.”
Lively’s amendment went on to state that she chose “not to venture” out into public due to the stress of the situation. While behind closed doors she’s been dealing with trauma, anxiety, and fear. She also claims to have suffered physical pain amid the stress of the lawsuit battle.

In late 2024, the actress shockingly filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment on the set of their film. Weeks later, the actor/director filed his own lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds. Since that time, allegations, leaked text messages, and more have come to light in the case.
Neither Blake Lively nor Ryan Reynolds have publicly spoken out about the drama. However, the couple did make their first public appearance since the scandal broke during the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary celebration on Sunday.
During the live show, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took questions from the star-studded live audience. At one point, Reynolds stood up for his moment in the spotlight. When the women asked the actor how he was, he replied with a slight joke alluding to the pair’s legal dispute. “Great. Why, what have you heard?” he asked as the crowd laughed in response.
While fans have been going back and forth about which side to take in the Lively and Baldoni case, many have spoken out about Blake due to her history of rude TV interviews and cold fan responses, all of which have resurfaced in the wake of the controversy.
