Blake Lively is facing immense backlash as new photos of her showing off a green dress and boots spark comments on her parenting. The actress, 37, turned heads in a stylish frock and cardigan this weekend, stepping out in New York City while attending an event promoting her Betty Booze brand.
Noting that one of Blake‘s four children is named Betty, fans on The Daily Mail slammed Blake for naming her alcoholic beverage brand after one of her kids, a sentiment that manifested from multiple users. Elsewhere, fans trashed the It Ends With Us star’s style, with many mocking the “pea-green soup” color palette she’d chosen. Together with husband Ryan Reynolds, Blake is a parent to kids James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. She’s also the founder of her new Blake Brown haircare brand, which launched over the summer.

Swathing her curves in a maxi dress as she went embellished in peephole-effect fabrics, Blake stunned in a retro-style frock with long sleeves and a sheer finish.
Flashing hints of her toned waistline and hourglass silhouette, the blonde kept cozy in a darker green cardigan, channeling fall vibes as she smiled for the paparazzi. Completing her look with corseted dark green boots as she kept her outfit coordinated, Blake carried a small textured clutch purse in brown and gold, wearing her light hair down and rocking green ring jewelry.
Waving at the cameras in some photos as she was caught solo, Blake headed to NYC’s Lawn Club, where she was set to host her promotional The Betty BOOze Harvest Happy Hour event.
Fans Horrified She Named Her Company After Her Kids
Over 170 fans have now upvoted a comment questioning the morals of the Betty Booze name. Shading Blake, the fan said: “Why would you name your alcoholic beverage company after one of your kids?”
They added: “I find it a little offensive towards her child. Betty booze?! I could understand if she started a kid clothing line and named it after her daughter or her other children.”
Agreeing, another wrote: “The fact that she doesnโt drink yet has an alcoholic brand and company and names it after her daughter is bizarre and weird.”
Blake originally launched her non-alcoholic Betty Buzz club soda brand in September 2021. Betty Booze, meanwhile, was released last summer. While the Betty name does involve Blake’s daughter, it’s also in honor of the actress’ aunt and grandmother. Nonetheless, fans weren’t impressed.
Also creeped out was a user saying: “This is so weird first off. She doesnโt even drink alcohol yet. She starts an alcohol company and not only that she named it after Her daughter.”
