Brad Pitt’s relationship with his six children may be worse than fans originally thought. Although many of the children he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie have chosen to drop his last name, it seems the bad feelings run very deep. The rift between Pitt and the kids was evident when it was reported that Pax, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne opted not to spend Father’s Day with him. Now, sources are opening up about the ill feelings Maddox has against his adoptive father.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split in 2016. At the time, the actress accused the father of her children of being physically violent on a private plane with the kids. In legal documents, Jolie claimed that Pitt grabbed and shook her. He also allegedly “choked” one of his children at that time. Since that time, Maddox, the oldest of the Jolie-Pitt kids, has seemingly disowned his father.

Sources now claim that Maddox was “very affected” by the incident. Since that time, he has positioned himself to be fiercely protective of his mother. His feelings toward Pitt have also allegedly bled over onto his younger siblings, per OK! Magazine.
Recently, Shiloh legally dropped Pitt’s name and is said to have done so because of his history of alleged abuse. Meanwhile, his younger children, twins Vivienne and Knox, are reportedly also straying away from their father.

He has been adamant that he did not physically harm any members of his family. However, he has admitted to having a drinking problem.
The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star is said to be hopeful he’ll eventually get to rebuild his relationships with his children. “He loves Maddox dearly, and even though they’re still estranged, Brad will always hold out hope for reconciliation,” one source revealed.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie remain entangled in a bitter feud as they continue to battle it out in court.
