A California YouTuber found that blatantly creeping on women doesn’t always lead to the most desirable outcome. You’ve probably seen videos yourself of YouTuber’s just like him: Men flirting with women who have no idea that they’re being recorded. For Christopher John, who goes by ‘rizzzcam’ on YouTube, he thought he was onto something. He never suspected that somebody would see his less-than-charming actions and call him out in the most hilarious way.
The awkward incident took place when the ‘rizzzcam’ star was secretly filming women on the streets of San Diego, California. He was wearing Meta’s Ray-Ban AI glasses, which allow you to live stream as you’re filming. Christopher starts to flirt with a woman who says she has a boyfriend, but he doesn’t take the hint.
Just when you can’t take the cringe any longer, a man in a plaid shirt walks into view to intervene. The man warns the woman that Christopher is recording her by repeatedly saying “camera.” The man says to Christopher, “I’ve been waiting for this,” as he tries to snatch the glasses away from him. Meanwhile, the woman makes her escape.
As Christopher attempts to de-escalate the situation and flee the scene, Plaid Shirt asks, “You guys are creeping on those girls over here, that’s you, right? Go to the other street out of respect for the locals.”
Christopher figured he would be sly and play the whole thing off as if it’s just another day for him. He told his followers on social media, “Sometimes people will try to get a reaction out of you on stream—but the meat move is not to reach at all. Stay grounded, stay calm.”
His followers had varying opinions, from agreeable to outright disgust.
—“You’ve got self control figured out”
—“So you can harass women, but don’t like it when it’s done to you!!! Local legend right there”
—“Hahaha this guy definitely checked you and rightfully so. Thanks for posting yourself getting punked hopefully it deters you in the future”
Christopher has made women the center of attention in his videos, confronting them about dating topics on the California beach, after a night out with friends, or on their way back from the gym. In other words, he makes sure to catch them off guard when they likely just want to be left alone.
One viewer commented on his video, “Finally, the harasser has become the harassed,” and this is probably the best way to sum it up. To have true “rizz,” you don’t want to be like Christopher. Instead, stay self-aware and work on your social skills.
