It’s a well-known fact that raising a child is never easy. It takes a lot of time and effort, and of course, as parents, you will end up making mistakes. One such mistake is letting your kid get out of your eyesight. This is what a clueless Florida mom did with her special needs kid. She shared a video of how she discovered her bathroom completely flooded with water. Apparently, her kid managed to do this on his own when she wasn’t looking. The Florida mom also wrote in a caption of the video, “Raising a child with special needs brings a level of exhaustion that most people will never understand.” I can only imagine how hard this might be. With the look of the bathroom, she definitely had a lot of cleaning up to do.
In the video shared by the Florida mom, you see her walking in the bathroom and moving the water flooding it with her feet. You can also see discarded wet tissue on the floor. The sink is absolutely ruined as well. There are wet tissues on it, it is filled with water, and there is even toothpaste discarded inside of it. What is horrifying, though, is that there was something brown inside the sink that looked like you know what. Thankfully, she clarified in the comments that it wasn’t. “No it is not poop- it’s the brown in the roll of toilet paper,” she wrote. Poop or not, the bathroom doesn’t look good at all. I can understand why she would feel exhausted when dealing with this.
People Reacting to the Florida Mom’s Video
Unfortunately for the Florida mom, not a lot of people sympathized with her. Most comments started dragging her and saying hurtful things about her and her special needs child. One TikTok user even said, “Yeah… no. I just could never. Would rather give them up for adoption then ruin mine and my wives life.” This made the Florida mom respond by saying, “I would hate to be you & your wife.” The first comment is definitely hurtful but I have to agree with someone who said that putting the kid up for adoption is better than neglecting him. There were other comments similar to the one about adoption. “We need a test while pregnant so we can make a choice,” one person wrote. A woman also put the popular cartoon picture of a woman throwing her child in the air, hinting at getting rid of them.
The hate toward the Florida woman and her special needs kid didn’t stop; it just kept going. One person even described the poor kid as an object by writing, “why was it unattended for that long.” Another person asked, “I just hve a question where were you?” This made the mom reply and say, “Being a mother- doing other motherly duties. Any more questions?” She was then dragged again as someone told her, “Motherly duties is watching your child??” At least there was one comment that was a little bit kind, as one person wrote, “I work with special needs children they are very smart and can be quite manipulative. You still have to set rules, boundaries and stand 10 toes down cause we tend to feel bad and that’s when they take advantage.” I’m sure that the mom didn’t get the reaction that she expected.
