A woman in Colorado got into an argument with her neighbor over her rainbow flag. Shortly after, emergency services arrived at her neighbor’s house, causing her to ask, “Did I stroke out the straights?”
The drama unfolded with a TikTok user named @cowboylikebee13, who revealed that her neighbors were not comfortable with the “No Kings” signs in front of her house.
At the start of the video, the neighbor could be heard yelling across the street, asking if the Colorado woman thinks her rainbow flag is tacky. The woman laughed and replied, “Yeah, we’ve got a rainbow flag and you’re tacky, that is facts.”
The video panned to show that the woman also had the American flag hoisted on her front porch. She continued responding to the neighbors, saying:
“We fly ours illuminated at night because that’s the flag code. You motherf*ckers can’t even take yours down cause you don’t know how to hang it. Y’all don’t respect the flag. Ours is hung the flag code and yours is not cause we’re Americans and y’all are Trumpers.”
Enraged, the neighbors responded by spewing more curse words at her, but she only mocked them, saying, “You got me there, Fred.”
In a follow-up video, North Metro Fire Rescue officials and paramedics were gathered around the neighbor’s house. There was also a fire truck parked in front of the house, and a Broomfield police car. Confused, the Colorado woman wondered what was going on in the house.
She could be heard asking herself, “What in the hell is going on? Did I give them a stroke, y’all? Did I stroke out the neighbors? Are they fighting with each other now?”
Shortly, the woman finally provided an update on why there were paramedics around the neighbor’s house. She stated that the emergency responders were in the house for about 42 minutes, but they didn’t leave with any occupants of the house. She also added that she spoke with some other people on the same street who believe that the neighbors likely had a kid with a medical situation that was taken care of. She ended the video expressing relief that everyone in the neighbor’s house seemed to be okay.
Many online users found the interaction hilarious. One netizen commented, “‘You got me there, Fred’ had me laughing so hard!” Another added, “The MAGA people I know always use 911 like it’s their therapist’s number.”
A third user commended the woman for calling out her neighbors. “‘We’re Americans and you’re Trumpers.’ 👏🏼good line, I’m using that,” the comment read.
