What was supposed to be a cozy house date might turn into criminal charges for one Redditor. A Connecticut woman has laid serious allegations on her date days after he hosted her in his house. News of the allegations surfaced after the accused man went on Reddit to lament about his predicament while seeking help. He began his write-up by explaining that he met the lady on Hinge, and they connected. After going on a few dates, he decided to invite her to his house, and the outcome was unpleasant.
The internet user disclosed that when the lady visited, they cooked together, drank wine, and watched a movie. Although the date ended well, the woman texted her host two days later with the accusations. “She said she felt like I had put weed in the pizza I cooked for her,” the Connecticut man revealed.
Debunking the claim, the accused stated that even though he was a weed smoker, he didn’t put it in the pizza. He had never cooked edibles at all in his life, and neither had a container of weed been opened in his kitchen before.
The Connecticut man also stated that the food was cooked in her presence, and she saw everything added to the food. Despite his explanations, the lady remained unconvinced and still insisted he drugged her. The woman reported his Hinge account, and now, the man fears that she might ruin his reputation.

Redditors came out in their numbers, advising the man and calling the woman crazy. One user advised, “Move on and be happy this kind of crazy showed itself sooner than later. No, this won’t cause problems.”
Another user wrote, “Seriously OP, this girl is crazy. You found out. Now stop having any form of contact with her.”
A third Redditor added, “Nothing, let crazy be crazy. Be glad you dodged this bullet early.”
This user advised the man to go the legal way. “It’s called libel. Let her know if she persists, you will seek legal recourse to any further defamation or libel.”
A similar case of “crazy” happened last month when an irrational 18-year-old caused destruction worth $5k in an act targeting her ex-boyfriend.
The teenager and her friend vandalized what they thought to be her ex-boyfriend’s car but belonged to his neighbor. The vehicle was damaged with gold spray paint and eggs. Authorities apprehended the pair, and they were slammed with charges of criminal mischief.
Unfortunately, incidents involving irrational behavior are not uncommon, serving as a reminder to always be cautious.
