Current series runners Saladin Ahmed and Aaron Kuder will continue the main story of their run for the issue. However, the special super-sized issue will also feature a bunch of guest talent. First and foremost, Daredevil #8 will continue Ahmed and Kuder’s fantastic storyline. The duo’s series finds Matt Murdock balancing life as a Catholic priest with the onslaught of demons trying to get him and his loved ones. After discovering that these demons are the seven deadly sins made flesh, Matt teams with Elektra to go on the offense.

In Daredevil’s 60th anniversary issue, Matt and Elektra confront the mysterious gang terrorizing Hell’s Kitchen. In the middle of dealing with that, an old foe of Matt’s reemerges. He brings with him the blood of his trusted allies on his hands. This pushes the series into its next phase and proves why Daredevil stories have remained popular for 60 years.

For Daredevil’s 60th anniversary, Ahmed and Kuder’s main story is joined by work from some of the best in the biz. The issue features a story from Ahmed and newcomer Tommaso Bianchi. It details why Elektra is a great fit for Matt as she faces off against an army of the Heat. It also brings in visionary Daredevil writer Ann Nocenti and artist Stefano Raffaele. Together they take readers back to the 80s. They give fans a flashback adventure of Daredevil taking on Turk and his fellow mobsters. Then, Erica Schultz and Stormbreaker artist Jan Bazaldua show Elektra in her new role as a mentor to Alice.

The issue also features a look at how Matt Murdock inspires generations in and out of the costume. This comes from writer Elsa Sjunneson and artist Erica Koda. D.G. Chichester and Ken Lashley bring a never-before-told face-off between Daredevil and Punisher from the 90’s run. Finally, Ty Templeton brings his iconig Daily Bugle funnies to the celebratory issue.

Celebrate Daredevil’s 60th anniversary with Daredevil #8 on sale 04/17.
