With the new Season of the Witch, we’ve finally got a new Destiny 2 quest with loads of steps to complete: The Bladed Path. This quest will continue throughout the Season of the Witch, adding new weekly steps for Guardians to take on. Before beginning The Bladed Path, you must complete this season’s introductory quest, Toil and Trouble, which walks you through the new seasonal mechanics that Season of the Witch offers. Let’s take a look at how to complete each of Destiny 2‘s The Bladed Path quest steps!

The Bladed Path: Season of the Witch Week One Quest Steps

The entirety of The Bladed Path will take several weeks to complete. There are 51 steps in total, and only a few will be released weekly.

The Bladed Path: Step One

Season of the Witch Quest The Blade Path Step One

Step one of The Bladed Path takes you into the Altars of Summoning for a quick rundown of how the new seasonal activity works.

“Mission: Invoke” Completed
- Conquer powerful combatants and tithe strength to Eris Morn in “Mission: Invoke.”

To begin Mission: Invoke, you should go to the H.E.L.M. from the Destinations tab of the Director. From there, you can go through the portal in the Southern wing and travel to the Athenaeum. Within the Athenaeum, you can access the Altars of Summoning seasonal activity. However, before you can run through the activity as a usual mission, you must complete the quest’s version of it, Mission: Invoke. You must complete it as a solo Guardian and won’t need to take on the final boss to obtain completion.

Step Two

Step two of The Bladed Path in Destiny 2 will take you back into the H.E.L.M., where you must listen to the holoprojector message.

Message Received
- Visit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.

Go back into the H.E.L.M. after completing Mission: Invoke to locate the holoprojector and listen to the message from Iroka that is waiting for you. You can find the holoprojector in the Southern wing in the same room as the portal to the Athenaeum.

The message will let you know that Ikora believes it is in everyone’s best interest to keep Eris Morn’s metamorphosis as short as possible.

The Bladed Path: Step Three

Season of the Witch Quest The Bladed Path Step One

Step three of The Bladed Path will keep you in the same room as the holoprojector, the only difference being the device you listen to the message on.

Radio Message Heard
- Visit the radio in the H.E.L.M.

A message awaits at the radio. The radio can be found in the same room as the portal and holoprojector, in the Southern wing of the H.E.L.M. and down the stairs. Approach it to listen to the latest message waiting for you to complete this step of the Destiny 2 seasonal quest: The Bladed Path.

Step Five marks the beginning of the second week of the Season of the Witch seasonal quest, The Bladed Path in Destiny 2.

The Bladed Path: Step Five

Step five of The Bladed Path will take you back into the Athenaeum to speak with Eris Morn where you first visited her.

Eris is waiting to speak with you in the Athenaeum. She wishes for more of your tithes, for you to fight on her behalf as she prepares to shift into her Hive form again.

Step Six

Eris wishes to tell you about sword logic and the Hive.

The Bladed Path: Step Seven

Further augment your bong with the Light by attuning to an element.

Element Attuned
- Further your understanding of sword logic by attuning with an element at Eris Morn’s Ritual Table.

For this step, you must choose the elemental attunement you wish to use for this season. With an element attunement, you can explore Savathun’s Spire more efficiently and augment your own capabilities.

Step Eight

Further your studies and claim power for Eris by defeating combatants with your attuned element in Savathun’s throne world or in Seasonal activities.

Defeat combatants using your selected element’s damage type in Savathun’s Throne world or in Seasonal activities.
- Defeating powerful combatants will grant bonus progress

For this step, you must defeat enemies using the elemental damage type of your chosen attunement.

The Bladed Path: Step Nine

Seek out the Hive Elemental runes hidden in the Lost Sectors of Savathun’s Throne World and harness the arcane power within.

Metamorphosis attunement performed
- Attune with the Hive elemental runes in the Lost Sectors of Savathun’s Throne World.

For this quest, you need to head into the Metamorphosis Lost Sector and within the first room, shoot each of the Hive elemental runes with a Solar weapon.

Step 10

Eris Morn has summoned you to her Athenaeum in Savathun’s throne world. Access the Athenaeum via the portal in the Southern wing of the H.E.L.M.

Step 14 marks the beginning of the third week of the Season of the Witch seasonal quest, The Bladed Path in Destiny 2.

Step 15

You must solve the mysteries of Savathun’s Spire.

- Breach the twisting halls of Savathun’s Spire and tear through illusions and combatants alike
- Launch Savathun’s Spire from the H.E.L.M. in the Destinations tab of the Director.

Step 17

Confront Xivu Arath’s forces in the Altars of Summoning.

“Mission: Conjure” completed
- Defend your tithing rituals from Xivu Arath’s ambushing forces in “Mission: Conjure.”
