The Retrofuturist is one of the few weapons in Destiny 2 that when paired with a great God Roll, can be an exceptional Crucible weapon. Not only is it an absolute beast when it comes to PvP game modes, but it’s also pretty effective in PvE playstyles as well. The Retrofuturist isn’t a new gun by any means, but even years after its initial release in February of 2021, the Legendary Shotgun is still pretty, well, legendary. Something that puts this weapon above others is its Lightweight Frame Intrinsic that allows you to move faster as long as the Retrofuturist is equipped, making it ideal for Guardian vs. Guardian combat.
How To Get the Retrofuturist in Destiny 2
While the methods by which you can obtain the Retrofuturist are now limited, it is still possible with a bit of luck. As of the Season of the Wish, You can get the Retrofuturist from Crucible matches, or any other activity that gives general weapons as a random drop or even as a reward for ranking up with vendors throughout the game.

The Retrofuturist comes with the Lightweight Frame Legendary Intrinsic, which can be quite helpful in many PvP situations, and it greatly increases your weapon’s handling and your own movement speed while the Retrofuturist is equipped.
