With The Final Shape just around the Destiny 2 corner, there are some things we have to look forward to, like the new The Final Shape Raid. Typically, every time there’s a new expansion, we get a new raid to look forward to within a few weeks of the initial release, but this time around, things are going to happen a little differently. Luckily, the Destiny 2 The Final Shape Raid release date was finally revealed, so let’s take a look at when we should expect the raid.

The new raid for The Final Shape in Destiny 2 will begin on June 7th, 2024 at 10 AM PT/1PM EST. It isn’t uncommon for a raid to be released after a big expansion, like The Final Shape, but according to previous expansions and their raid release dates, the June 7th release is easily a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. Maybe it’s due to the fact that The Final Shape is the last expansion to be released in Destiny 2, or maybe even because of the state of the game’s community. Either way, we definitely weren’t expecting this, but having a date gives up something to look forward to nonetheless.

That said, between the beginning of The Final Shape and the new raid, you’ll only have a total of three days to discover everything about the new expansion and subclass before it’s time for you to jump right into the raid. Because of this, it might feel like everything is rather packed together, so you’ll need to get started as soon as possible and progress at impressive speeds to be fully prepared for The Final Shape raid when it releases.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things โ€œgeekโ€. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you canโ€™t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
