Does Spy x Family Code: White Have a Post-Credits Scene?

You won’t need to be Bond for this one.

The Forger family is coming to the big screen in Spy x Family Code: White. Directed by Takashi Katagiri, it is the first Spy x Family spin-off movie. While it was released in 2023 in Japan, the film will be making its way to U.S. theaters on April 19, 2024. You might be wondering whether the movie teases any future stories, or whether it has a comedic stinger mirroring some of the episodes of the series. So, let’s look at whether or not Spy x Family Code: White has a post-credits scene.

Is There a Post-Credits Scene In Spy x Family Code: White?

You should stay in your seats once the credits begin to roll as Spy x Family Code: White does have a post-credits scene. We won’t spoil what happens in the film here, but if you want to know how one of the characters ends up, you should stay until the very end of the movie. At least you won’t be bored while watching the credits roll, as there’s a cute little animation of Anya going on an adventure next to them. While the extra animated cuteness is appreciated, the animation doesn’t add much, whereas the main post-credits scene does tie into the film’s plot.

So, if you can, don’t rush to leave the theater and wait until all the credits are over for one final laugh. The show is no stranger to including comical stingers after the credits, like in the 23rd episode of the first season entitled, The Unwavering Path, where we see Nightfall practice her tennis swing. While it might have been nice to see something that set up another movie or future episodes of the series, Code: White should have had more than enough to keep you satisfied.

Plus, it would have been odd to reference any specific moment in the show’s plot considering the movie goes to such great lengths to make sure new viewers won’t be too lost. It could have teased something down the line, but not setting anything up is probably for the best. If you watched Code: White after watching the first season, you wouldn’t want there to be any spoilers for season two would you? You can see the newest Forger family adventure yourself when Spy x Family Code: White comes to U.S. theaters on April 19, 2024.
