Does The Fall Guy Have a Post-Credits Scene?

Let’s be blunt.

The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling (Barbie) and Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer) is about to explode into theaters. Directed by David Leitch (Bullet Train), The Fall Guy follows a semi-retired stuntman, Colt Seavers (Gosling), who is called in to investigate the disappearance of famous actor Tom Ryder played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Bullet Train). Colt needs to find him so that the movie can keep filming, the movie which is being directed by Jody (Blunt), his ex-girlfriend. You might be wondering if thereโ€™s anything in the action-packed film that sets up a sequel, so letโ€™s see if The Fall Guy has a post-credits scene.

Is There a Post-Credits Scene In The Fall Guy?

If you need to stretch, do so in your seat as The Fall Guy does have a post-credits scene. Right when the credits start you’ll be entertained with a reel of behind-the-scenes footage detailing many of the film’s stunts. The Fall Guy is a love letter to the stunt industry so it makes sense that everyone gets to watch the stunts be performed during the credits. Once the first bunch of credits โ€“ and the stunt reel โ€“ come to an end, there is an actual post-credits scene afterward, so be sure to stick around for that.

We won’t spoil the story developments in the post-credits scene here, but it wraps up the story of a couple of the film’s characters while throwing in a couple of cameos. If you don’t want to know who the cameos are, turn back now, because we will be spoiling who they are for the people who want to know. They are mentioned in the credits even though their scene comes after them, but the two new people in the post-credits scene are Lee Majors and Heather Thomas.ย

They played the original Colt and Jody in The Fall Guy television series which the movie is based upon. It’s a nice nod in a fun movie, one that doesn’t really need a post-credits scene. By the time the post-credits scene is over you already know how roughly every character ended up. It also seems like a contained movie rather than the start of another franchise. But, if the movie blows up the box office, you might witness the return of the unknown stuntman yet again. You can see The Fall Guy in theaters from May 3, 2024.
