WALL-E is arguably one of the most adorable characters from Pixar/Disney, so when the opportunity to help the little robot presents itself, who would say no? That’s the situation you find yourself in Disney Dreamlight Valley when you learn the beloved WALL-E needs help for his sick plant. Thus kicks off the “Sprouting A Story” Dreamlight Valley quest where you’ll spend time hunting down Storybook Pages.
Storybook Pages in Dreamlight Valley – Part 1
[Updated August 30, 2024 – included info about how the location of the Pages can change with different playthroughs]
When you receive the quest, WALL-E will first task you to find 10 Storybook Pages located in Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach. The exact location of these pages is not universal. So, every player may have a slightly different experience tracking them down.
Best advice here is to check everything. I’ve personally found a Dreamlight Valley Storybook Page inside Goofy’s house and another inside Ursula’s home. When you search for Storybook Pages, other good places to look include the following:
- Inside Night Thorns
- On the pathways or in the grass
- The entry path leading into the other biomes
- Near the entrance to the Mystical Cave
Once you have 10 pages, return to WALL-E to continue the quest. He’ll give you new areas to explore to continue completing the Ancient Storybook.
Storybook Pages – Part 2
Before you can search for more Storybook Pages in Dreamlight Valley, you must unlock the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust biomes. WALL-E will direct you to those places to find 18 Storybook Pages.
Again: locations are not precise for every gameplay. Like before, checking on the ground is a good start. Beyond that, these common areas may also have the Pages you need:
- Mother Gothel’s house (inside and around it outside)
- On the fringes of the Galde of Trust biome leading into other biomes
- Inside the giant mushrooms
- Inside Night Thorns and chunks of ice
- Near and inside Elsa’s ice cave
- By the river in the Forest of Valor
As with the first part, collect these Dreamlight Valley Storybook Pages and return to WALL-E as we’re nearing the end of the “Sprouting a Story” questline. You’ll receive your final two areas to search from there.
Storybook Pages in Dreamlight Valley – Part 3
For the final set of Storybook Pages, you need Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights unlocked. Between the two biomes, you will find 22 Storybook Pages. It’s the most out of the previous biomes, so take your time searching in case you overlook something.
In the Sunlit Plateau, most are in the grass or any Night Thorns you may have lying around. Consider checking the Vitalys Mine too if you feel stuck.
Meanwhile, with Frosted Heights, there are a few different places the Dreamlight Valley Storybook Pages can wind up:
- Inside Ice Chunks or Night Thorns
- On the edges of the river
- Check the area between Frosted Heights and the Forest of Valor
With the Storybook Pages in hand, return to WALL-E. You’ll discover that the plant is now missing, which unlocks the remainder of the “Sprouting a Story” questline. All that’s left for you to do is reach out to Mother Gothel, complete her brief sidequest, and you’ll find the plant to finish the quest.
