Dying Light 2 is now available, letting fans of the series return to this Infected-ridden world in an effort to continue the new protagonist Aiden’s goal of finding his sister. His journey isn’t a simple one to traverse though, as you find yourself tackling complex decisions that could possibly shape the future of The City and those inside it. One such decision takes place early on in the game where [SPOILER WARNING] Aiden is captured by the Peacekeepers and is negotiating with Aitor, their current leader. The previous leader was murdered in cold blood, and Aitor wants Aiden’s help to figure out who’s responsible. You may be wondering what you should do here, but there’s no need to worry. Should You Help Aitor Find the Killer?
When presented with this choice, you may find yourself concerned whether this will put you in ill will with either faction. The fact of the matter though is that this choice is meaningless, as stupid as that may sound. Whether you choose to meddle in your own affairs or help Aitor, you’ll find yourself having to hunt for Lucas’ killer and his prized Lazarus knuckles either way. It’ll just depend on if you either want Aitor to tell you that or for Hakon to tell you that outside. As you might expect, this will naturally have zero effect on either faction and will simply advance the story, letting you do things as normal.
