Koei Tecmo, via the PlayStation Blog, just announced that Dynasty Warriors: Origins is getting a demo soon, along with PS5 Pro enhancements. The upcoming spectacle fighter will be on everyone’s hands soon enough. While some people have already seen some footage during the Tokyo Game Show, gamers will be able to play an even larger portion without any time limit. That means that anyone will get a good feel of what this new Dynasty Warriors entry is all about and even enjoy properly in one of the newest consoles in the market.

According to the official announcement by Tomiko Sho, Head of Omega Force, a division in Koei Tecmo, the demo for Dynasty Warriors will launch on November 22, 2024. It will feature the Battle of the Sishui Gate with no time limit. And if you’re lucky enough to own Sony’s latest console, it will also arrive enhanced for the PS5 Pro. Furthermore, you can choose between four weapon types, including the Sword, Guandao, Pudao, and Wheels. But that’s not all; you can also adjust the difficulty to get your feet wet before the game’s official launch and even face none other than Lu Bu in this ordeal.

As someone who’s only scratched the surface of the series and other spin-offs before, I have to admit Origins is looking better than ever. The grand-scale combat is there, and it looks like the most in-depth one we’ve seen in the franchise. Furthermore, the boss fights have that air of soulslike encounters, which just adds to the epicness of everything that’s happening in the background.
