Robyn Dixon has only been absent from the Real Housewives of Potomac for one season, but fans are demanding her return immediately. On a recent episode of her podcast, Reasonably Shady, Robyn and Gizelle Bryant about Karen Huger’s DUI. In case you missed it, the latter was arrested in the summer of 2024. At the time, she was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence.
Karen filmed Season 9 of the show shortly after her arrest and kept most details about the case close to her chest. When her cast mates asked about the pending charges, she said she’d be vindicated after it played out in court. However, that’s not how things worked out. In December 2024, body cam footage of Huger’s arrest hit the internet. The clips showed the reality star slurring, stumbling, and making outlandish comments toward law enforcement. “I’m very rich,” she said in one clip before referring to herself as Thomas Jefferson’s “concubine” in another.
Once the footage spread, fans wondered why Karen hinted that her name would be cleared. “Those clips are embarrassing [and] Karen had the nerve to take the sh-t to trial like she would be vindicated,” one user said on X. But the watchers aren’t the only ones with questions. Robyn Dixon had a few things to say, too.
Karen’s Cast Mates Are Holding Her Feet to the Fire
On an episode of Reasonably Shady, Karen and Gizelle Bryant discussed Karen’s DUI. “Listen, I haven’t watched the season,” Robyn said. “But when I saw [Karen said] she was going to be vindicated … I was like, ‘Ma’am.'” She continued: “If this is being vindicated, [then] I don’t want to see what being guilty is.”
Although the Real Housewives of Potomac stars began the clip laughing while slamming Karen, they got serious after calling the moment “sad.” Karen and Gizelle, who fans know as the Green-Eyed Bandits, continued, saying they weren’t surprised by the clips of Huger. “I don’t think those [who] are familiar with that person were shocked by what we saw,” Robyn said. “I know what I saw, I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s par for the course.’ Like, I’m not shocked.”
Fans Want Robyn To Return to the Series
Before production began on Season 9 of RHOP, Robyn informed her fans that she wouldn’t return for the new episodes. “The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words,” she said in April 2024.
After the popular social media account Queens of Bravo shared the clip of Robyn talking about Karen, they immediately called for her return. And they weren’t alone … watchers seemingly agreed. “Did Robyn lie?” one user asked on X. “Karen been known as the drunk of Potomac whether we like her or not.” Another user also came to Robyn’s defense, saying they were “glad” to see her speak up. A third user said Robyn should’ve never been fired in the first place. “She always held Karen accountable for her lies. They need to bring her back next season.”
However, it wasn’t all love for Dixon, who starred on the show from 2016 to 2024. During Robyn’s time on RHOP, many fans called her out for seemingly hiding the truth about her unconventional relationship with her husband, Juan Dixon. The pushback reached an all-time high between Season 7 and 8 when she admitted to knowing Juan was texting other women after denying it throughout the season.
“So, Robyn’s sole reason for returning would be to expose somebody else’s business and not her own? That’s exactly why she’s sitting in the recliner now,” a user said.
