Square Enix has confirmed that Moogles will indeed be included in Final Fantasy 15.Ā Last week, Square Enix asked fans to vote on whether Moogles should be added to Final Fantasy 15.Ā After receiving some 30,000 votes about whether or not to includeĀ Moogles from Japanese and English fans, a whoppingĀ 78 percent of people agree that Moogles should be added to the title. For those worried that this will impede progress on the game, director Hajime Tabata announced on TwitterĀ thatĀ the addition willĀ not compromise the development of the game.Ā Tabata said theĀ “fun little extra” is being addedĀ “with a suitably light level of development work.”
Moogles have alternated between background characters and key features of the plot depending on the Final Fantasy game. Luckily, Tabataās openness about subjects as far ranging as gender equality in Final Fantasy 15Ā to why Noctis and friends wear black has kept fans both informed and well-prepared for the big changes coming to the series.Ā Hopefully, this news helps decrease fans anxiety that the new Final Fantasy will look nothing like former titles.
The game was first announced back in 2006 at E3 through a conceptual CGI trailer and was re-introduced as Final Fantasy 15 at 2013’s E3. Early this year a demo of the game titled Final Fantasy XV: Episode DuscaeĀ was released withĀ limited pre-order bonus with early physical and digital copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
Final Fantasy 15 isĀ published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and
