Izo is a weaponsmith in Gongaga who shows extreme interest in Barret’s gun arm and wishes to create a great weapon using Draconite Ores. You must gather eight hunks of this material from the forest, but Izo only gives you five photographs to help you locate the mining spot. Although each photo contains a point of interest, the Gongaga forest can be a challenge to navigate. No worries; we’ll help you find the Draconite Ore location and complete the Pursuit of Perfection side quest in FF7 Rebirth.

FF7 Rebirth Draconite Ore Location in the Pursuit of Perfection Quest

You can start the Pursuit of Perfection side quest by speaking to Izo at his house on the northeast side of the Gongaga village. He will tell you to use the five photos inside his storage shed to find the location of the Draconite Ore in FF7 Rebirth.

The path to the mining spot is rather convoluted, as you will need to use several points of interest as your guide. However, if you want to skip stumbling around in the Gongaga forest, you can immediately head west from Izo’s shed.

You know that you’ve reached your destination when you see a large tree growing near a cliff. A group of Daggerwings will also appear and attack your group. These monsters are weak against Wind, and you can pressure them by inflicting damage during Iconic Charge.

Here is the best team you can use to beat Daggerwings:

After the enemies are dead, you must collect eight hunks of Draconite Ore to complete the Pursuit of Perfection side quest. They are very easy to notice with their bright purple color. The game will also mark their location with a floating green icon.
