Fortnite has today launched its April 12 update on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. While taking the form of most weekly updates that add a tiny amount of content and not much more, there’s a bit more exciting news to talk about today. As just one example, today’s update brings in the brand new Battle for Condo Canyon POI for players to both explore and loot. You can find it, as expected, within the canyon you’ve come to know and love. That isn’t all though, so let’s not waste more time. The Battle for Condo Canyon
The Resistance has won the Battle for Daily Bugle! Funding Stations for anย Armored Battle Busย andย set of Turretsย can now be found at the POI.
Itโs not time to get complacent, though: the fight against the IO continues in theย Battle for Condo Canyon. Drop into this POI and help the Resistance starting now! (Like in the last battle, heed that Huntmaster Saber is overhead. ?)
Resistance Tactics
Raiding IO Blimps is a key tactic of the Resistance, and now thereโs another item you can loot from them. Zip up to an IO Blimp and findย Jetpacksย hanging on the walls!
Upgraded since their last appearance, Jetpacks now hover and strafe when youโre aiming-down-sights, allowing you to keep your eyes in the sky while lining up a shot.
Hatching Victory
Springโs in the air on the Island! Unvaulted for a limited time, fire eggs fromย Egg Launchersย to deal explosive damage. Egg Launchers can be found in Chests and on the ground.
Thereโs a sweeter kind of egg too. Unvaulted for a limited time, consume Bouncy Eggsย to temporarily lower gravityโs effect on you. (They also restore Shield slightly.) Bouncy Eggs can be found on the ground across the Island.
Competitive Notes
- Condo Canyon is not under assault in competitive playlists, but Huntmaster Saber has still relocated.
- Jetpacks are not included in competitive playlists but are subject to an evaluation period.
- Egg Launchers and Bouncy Eggs are not included in competitive playlists.
