Halloween, the time of ghouls, ghosts, scares, and sales. To celebrate Halloween 2019 developer Frogwares have their own spectacular, spooky, savings, sale for us to savor.

You may remember Frogwares from games such as Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Silver Earring, Sherlock Holmes Vs. Arsene Lupin and Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter.

It seems that Frogwares are quite the fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective and hopefully you are too as he will be popping up in the sale. The main discounts on offer are for The Sinking City and Sherlock: Crimes and Punishment.

The Sinking City will see a reduction of 30% which will be available for the Nintendo Switch version. This discount is quite limited though, so should you be interested make sure you head on over to the Eshop between October 28 and November 3, 2020.

The Merciful Madness DLC will also be available as a separate download after it was originally only part of the deluxe edition of the game. It offers up 3 side quests that are exclusive to Nintendo’s hybrid machine.

Players on other formats need not despair as Frogwares have also announced a new difficulty and set of HUD customizations that offer to make the game a more grueling experience for returning players. A video of which can be seen below:

I’ll admit, I haven’t had the chance to play the Lovecraft inspired adventure game yet and after watching that video I am somewhat tempted to give it a try, especially now there’s a discount attached.

For the PC gamers among you, Sherlock: Crimes and Punishment will be discounted by 75% on Steam between October 28 and November 1 and by 80% on GOG from October 29 till November 4.

Not only that but Frogwares have also announced that a selection of the older Sherlock games will be on sale at the same time so if you’re in the mood for some sluething get yourself over to Steam or GOG and take a look.

What are your thoughts on the sale? Does it pique your interest or have you already played these games? Crimes and Punishments did release in 2014 after all. Let us know in the comments and let us know the best Halloween deal you’ve found so far.
