Gal Gadot‘s onscreen moment on Disney’s Snow White goes viral, drawing comparisons to Scooby Doo. The actress has been critically panned for her role as the evil Queen and Snow White’s tyrannical stepmother in the 2025 remake of Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, based on the fairy tale of the same title. Her line delivery has especially faced backlash, with critics deeming her a terrible actress who delivered flat and emotionless words. While this line of thought isn’t exactly new to the star, despite her Hollywood excellence with hits like Wonder Woman, fans took the trolling a lot further this time, likening her voice to the talking dog from the animated film.
Several scenes from the live-action Snow White featuring Gal Gadot have been going viral on social media, making their way into memes and hilarious GIFs. One such scene, highly criticized for Gadot’s performance, saw the villainous Queen lash out at the Huntsman in a blood-curdling voice. In the seven-second clip, Gadot’s character appeared seated in front of her magical mirror, asking someone, “Are you against me too?” Pausing briefly and then turning to the Huntsman whom she was addressing in the background, she asked again, more menacingly, “Are you? Yes or no?”
Fans Think Gal Gadot Sounds Like Scooby-Doo in “Snow White” Scene
Gal Gadot’s performance in the Snow White scene did not sit well with critics, who deemed her delivery and accent less-than-ideal for the iconic role. Many have slammed the 39-year-old for sounding like “Scooby Doo” in that particular scene, delivering her line with a growl, much like the animated dog’s gruff voice. One netizen criticized,
“Holy sh-t! I was not expecting that delivery to be that bad.”

Several critics wondered how Gadot managed to become an actress to begin with, or get cast in major roles given her “atrocious” and “bizarre” acting skills. They blamed the movie’s flop on Gal Gadot’s terrible performance, as against narratives pinning the blame on the Snow White-role player Rachel Zegler’s political views. A netizen pointed out,
“Shitty politics aside, she is such a terrible actress that I can count on her to ruin any scene she is in. She is so bad.”
Disney’s Movie Face Political Backlash
Notably, Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White has faced backlash over issues ranging from its color-blind cast to the producer’s decision to deviate from the original storyline based on the 1812 fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Additionally, Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler have both faced harsh criticism over their political views. Zegler has made a handful of pro-Palestine remarks on the gram, creating tension with her co-stars and causing groups to resolve to boycott her film.
Worse still, these remarks raised security issues for her Israeli co-star, Gadot, who faced numerous death threats as a result, prompting Disney to pay for her all-around security during filming. Ultimately, the 23-year-old Latina actress has received the bulk of the blame for the flopped film, with Snow White producer Marc Platt’s son Jonah Platt blatantly citing her “Free Palestine” post as a key factor in the film’s box office flop. Whatever the case, be it political views, widespread criticism, threats to boycott the film, or Gadot’s poor performance, for one of the most expensive movies ever made, its numbers are no doubt disappointing.
