Instead of making a full-time home in the United States, Yearwood reportedly wants to reside in the country of Ireland after she fell in love with the landscape during a trip.
“Actually, the Queen is pushing hard for that house over there. I think this last time over there, she just fell head over heels in love with the country. We played two weekends, so we went on that stint across the country, and everyone was so sweet to her,” he said.

In addition to Yearwood loving the country, Brooks also has a huge fanbase in Ireland. In 2022 when he scheduled two shows in the country, he was forced to add three more. All of which were packed with his Irish followers. However, the timing of the possible move is raising eyebrows.
In October, a former makeup artist who previously worked for Brooks make claims that the singer raped and assaulted her. The assault allegedly happened in 2017. She also claimed that he made excessive sexual comments to her during their time together. However, Brooks denied the allegations, claiming it was all an extortion plot.
“For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars. Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money,” Brooks said of the allegations.
It was previously reported that Garth Brooks is under an immense amount of pressure due to the sexual misconduct claims. Although Trish Yearwood appears to be standing by her man, those in the singer’s inner circle are said to be worried about his health amid the scandal. In the weeks since the allegations have come to light, concerns for Brooks’ blood pressure have counted due to the stress.
In the past, it was Yearwood who helped her husband lose 50 pounds. She forced him to cut out soda and candy. This time around, she may be looking to help him control his stress and blood pressure by moving him out of the country for some major rest and relaxation following the horrible allegations against him.
