Xinyan is a 4-star Pyro Claymore character and is occasionally available as a rate-up character during numerous limited banners. Xinyan can also be obtained at any time from the weapon or standard banners. Xinyan’s best 5-star weapon is the Redhorn Stonethresher, providing a massive 88% Crit DMG boost and a buff to her Charged Attack DMG as well. Xinyan also has a niche as a shielder, but she is extremely weak in this role compared to other shielders in the game.

Xinyan has two main niches: she gains Physical DPS buffs through her constellations, which makes her a viable main DPS. She can also be used as your team’s shielder who provides some decent damage on the side. Choose the best artifact set based on which role you’re gunning for:

Best Team Comps for Xinyan in Genshin Impact
As a shielder, Xinyan can be slotted into any team that’s in desperate need of some defensive utility. Xinyan can be used as a Thoma alternative in some Burgeon comps (Xinyan + Nahida + Xingqiu / Furina + Yelan). However, her best utility is as a Physical DPS at higher constellations.
