SS-Tier
Alhaitham
Alhaitham is one of the best Dendro and DPS characters because he can deal with hordes of enemies with his AoD but also go one-on-one combat without problems. In addition, his kit scales with Elemental Mastery, which means he is excellent for use in teams for different Elemental Reactions. Players may find it difficult to adapt to their playstyle and rotation. Alhaitham can be easily interrupted during his rotation and must start the whole cycle again; a Shielder is an ideal companion for him. Also, his animations are long.
Neuvillette
Neuvillette’s kit focuses on using more of his Charged attack; this is his most powerful attack and can counter several enemies with its big AoE. Of course, this is in exchange for HP, although this judge has self-healing to last longer on the battlefield. You should always have a Shielder on the team because Neuville can be easily interrupted. Also, his rotations and understanding of how it works can be challenging at the beginning.
Arlecchino
Father is a very lethal character due to her vast DMG; she can take on several characters simultaneously or deal with a single target. Arlecchino is a more flexible character, so you can change the rotation without any problem. Also, she has a dash, so you don’t waste time running after enemies. However, getting used to her Bond of Life mechanic is initially difficult, as it is the only way to keep her alive. You will also need a Shielder for her.
S-Tier
Hu Tao
This girl inflicts massive DMG with her Elemental Skill, but this is increased if her HP is below 50%. Plus, she is one of the best characters to Vaporize. Just be careful with enemies who have Corrosion attacks, like the Riftwolves. You don’t want her HP to drop too low, and a healer for Hu Tao is not the best option. It’s better to choose a Shielder to keep her at least with 1 HP.
Ayaka
Ayaka is perfect for applying Cryo continuously and, therefore, to trigger Elemental reactions, which will also be more potent with CRIT Rate artifacts. Ensure her team focuses on Freeze or Melt reactions and be careful as her Burst pushes enemies away. You will also need to look for Energy Recharge artifacts, as her Elemental Burst needs a lot of particles.
Lyney
This archer is excellent for DMG and can create several Elemental Reactions with Pyro; he doesn’t need a specific reaction to improve his attacks. Unlike other Pyro characters that burn themselves, Lyney has self-healing skills and can taunt enemies. He will need you to invest a lot in his build and talents. To further improve his DMG, it is better to have two Pyro teammates, but that leaves his team compositions very limited. You need to strictly follow his rotation to make it work perfectly.
Navia
The president of Spina di Rosula has a high Base ATK, which allows her to DMG her enemies a lot. However, to be Main DPS, you must play her with a quick swipe or leave her on the field longer during her rotation. Fortunately, Navia is flexible with her partners and works on many teams. Although she has AoE with her Elemental Skill, this area is reduced, and you will need to aim close to the enemies.
Clorinde
This duelist has a piercing attack that can kill several enemies and is a character that can work well without specific Supports. The best thing to do with Clorinde is to play with Elemental Reactions, especially because she can only heal constantly with her Elemental Skill and not with Healers. However, you must be careful because her Skill has a long cooldown.
Mualani
This surfer relies on Vaporize Reactions to make the maximum DMG possible, more if you use artifacts to improve her HP stat. You will get better results if you use her Skill (surfboard) to mark enemies and then use her Burst, especially if you use Nigsoul’s Blessing state. However, you must be very careful when aiming because you can miss her attack if the enemies move; try to be as close as possible.
These are the best DPS with the characters available in Genshin Impact, but remember to check the builds and tier list for every version because they can change with each new banner or if HoYoverse implements another mechanic.
