Artifacts are a necessity in developing stronger characters and builds in Genshin Impact. The Lost Valley Domain includes two unique Artifacts for characters like Xiao and universal ones for others. It makes the Domain a helpful farm spot, but it’s not always straightforward about how to get into the area once you find it. Well, if you’re ready to tackle a simple puzzle, then you’re ready to explore and unlock The Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact.
Where To Find and Unlock The Lost Valley Domain
Before we focus on a way to unlock The Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact, we must track it down. Head to Fuao Vale in The Chasm, Liyue to start your hunt for the entrance. Make sure you’ve already completed the entirety of the Archon Quest in Prologue: Act 3 “The Song of the Dragon and Freedom.” It’s one of the requirements even to begin using The Lost Valley Domain.
To reach the area in little time, take the Teleport to The Statues of the Seven in The Chasm. It’s a straight shot from there if you go down from the cliffs into the region with the rocks where some of them are yellow with a glow-like effect. You’ve successfully located The Lost Valley Domain area in Genshin Impact, but there’s still the pesky business of finding a way to unlock it.
Unlocking the Domain
The Lost Valley Domain isn’t not going to unlock itself for you in Genshin Impact. But there’s a quick and easy method to open the gap and reveal the door beyond the boulders. Some consider it a puzzle, but it’s straightforward nonetheless.
Before you head there, be sure you have someone who can use Geo Constructs in your party. You can’t complete any of this without them.
Now, with all our requirements met, we can work toward an unlock solution for The Lost Valley Domain in Genshin Impact. This begins with finding the Unique Rock that sits south of the Domain. It features a Geo symbol on it and there’s also an Ancient Stone Tablet near it as pictured below:
Next up, find the pressure plate in front of the Unique Rock with a treasure chest on it. Open the chest and then place a Geo Construct on top of the plate:
This will trigger a Wind Ring. Follow it as it will lead you to a massive rock. If you get the chest up there, there’s a chance you may have to go back and re-do the Geo Construct on the pressure plate.
Now, the rock you land on via the Wind Ring must be activated. So, use a strong attack like Geo or Claymore against the rock to trigger a Geo wave. This wave crosses beyond the boulders and shatters the Geo Construct on the platform.
Once the wave destroys the Unique Rock in Genshin Impact, there should be a brief cutscene that reveals you managed to unlock The Lost Valley Domain. Now, all that’s left is for you to walk through the newly formed gap and enter it to get some farming done.
