A Georgia sorority girl named Lily Stewart is making headlines for her attention-grabbing mugshot. The college student raised eyebrows when the photo taken at the police station after her recent arrest raised eyebrows. She’s now going viral for being the girl with the “hot mugshot.” Now, she’s revealing her thoughts on all the attention she’s getting and spilling the details about why she got arrested in the first place.

According to the New York Post, Lily Stewart’s hair and makeup were done to perfection when she was arrested, and it showed in her “hot mugshot.” The Georgia woman had her light-brown hair parted in the center and styled in soft waves that fell over her shoulders. She had a natural makeup look, which included glossy lips and pink blush. She also sported a pair of studded earrings. The sorority member also smiled in her mugshot, showing off her perfectly straight teeth.

Stewart says that she was dressed up with her hair and makeup done because she was headed to a party when she was stopped by police. The Alpha Chi sorority member, 20, says that she was initially pulled over by police for driving 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. After she spoke to the officer who stopped her she was free to go. However, she made a big mistake shortly after by speeding yet again. The same officer stopped her again and took her to the station.

“The officer saw me while he was driving the opposite direction. He was like, ‘You’re speeding’ and he was super-friendly, and I was super-friendly, and he wrote me a ticket,” the University of Georgia student shared. “As soon as I got back in the car, I pulled out — and accidentally started speeding again. By the time I caught myself, he pulled me over and arrested me. It was the second time speeding that got me arrested. [The cop] placed me in handcuffs and put me in the back of his car,” Stewart added.

Lily says it was all too easy to speed down the back deserted back road, as it was empty of pretty much anything except for cows, which flanked the road.

As for her reaction to her mugshot going viral? Stewart says she doesn’t understand it.

“I think it’s hilarious. I don’t know what all the hype is about. I just took a mugshot and went on with my day,” she said.

Of course, fans had a lot to say about Stewart’s mugshot and arrest.

“She’s too pretty to be guilty,” one person commented.

“She’s beautiful and I think the craziness about her is hilarious. You go girl!” another wrote.

“Bless her heart,” a third person said.

“Her parents must be so proud,” a fourth comment read.

It seems that the experience is one that Georgia sorority girl Lily Stewart won’t soon forget, and if she does, she’ll always have the “hot mugshot” to look back on.
