The 51-year-old rang in the spooky season with an infectious excitement that she’s displayed on social media since the midnight clock ticked. In the early hours of Thursday, October 31, Heidi Klum shared a video of herself walking through the streets at dawn, to officially welcome fans into the long-anticipated day while teasing the elaborate nature of this year’s costume. She voiced in the clip,
“Good morning New York, it’s finally Halloween! One year in the making, this costume. I’m excited.”
The excited star proceeded to challenge fans to show off their own costumes, as she was excited to see the creative creation they came up with. Her caption read,
“Happy Halloween 🎃 👻💀👀. Bring it people !!!!! Show us your Costumes … I am so excited to see all of your creations. Can not wait to show you mine. One year in the making 🥳. Wishing everyone a fun time and be safe”
Waking Up to Her Favorite Day of the Year
Further stressing her excitement, Heidi Klum shared another clip showing her in bed with her husband Tom Kaulitz. In the clip, an excited Heidi, seemingly just waking up on Halloween morning hit her husband with the last question he’d expect to hear first thing in the morning. “Dear,” she said, “Are you ready to do Halloween with me? I love you.” The clip only added to the spooky atmosphere surrounding Heidi’s big day as it featured the couple with distorted faces, with sinister laughs punctuating their words.
Next, Heidi Klum, who is hosting her annual Halloween party, reputable for being the biggest celebrity Halloween bash of the season, in New York tonight, followed up with snaps of herself at the famed Empire State Building. The star donned an orange ensemble in the photos captioned “Kicking off Halloween with the queen.” One of the shots offered a glimpse inside the iconic building, with Heidi standing on a Halloween-themed platform, holding a switch.
In another, the actress appeared to scream as the giant fingers of the fictional King Kong grabbed her, having broken through the entryway. The depiction already passes for one of the best Halloween themes seen in 2024 so far. And given her history of going all out on Halloween, whatever Heidi is cooking is sure to surpass this.
Heidi Klum Spills on Her Long-Anticipated Halloween Outfit
While Heidi Klum’s 2024 Halloween costume remains the best-kept secret until its official unveiling tonight, the star gave fans an idea of what to expect in a brief interview outside the Empire State Building. Asked what she’d be wearing tonight, the Halloween Queen hinted it would be out of this world, and feature lots of orange. She quipped,
“Well, it is my favorite time of the year which is Halloween and I got to, you know, light the Empire State Building in Orange. So I have to be an orange. You know, like a pumpkin.”
About her costume, she said,
“I always try to do something different. This year, I’m gonna be from a different planet.”
While the costume has admittedly been one year in the making, Heidi Klum has kept the anticipation heightened all week. On Wednesday, an excited Heidi Klum revealed to her 12.2 million followers that she just finished the final fitting for her Halloween costume, which they would get to see only when she officially unveils it at her annual Halloween party. We do know this much, “It’s from a different planet, and pretty uncomfortable to fit into.”
